Sample Campaign - Author Paul Woodring
Paul Woodring, author of Inventions, desired placement more prominent than a book cover on the AALBC.com Homepage.
Paul was also interested in having a 300 X 250 (rectangle banner) placed above the fold on the AALBC.com homepage. Unfortunately that popular position was booked solid for at least two months.
Undeterred and wanting immediate placement, Paul inquired about alternatives. AALBC.com created a new "below the fold" position for a 300 x 250 size banner on the AALBC.com homepage.
Paul also needed a new banner designed to highlight his new book.
AALBC.com provided Paul three different versions of the Inventions banner for consideration. Paul was given the option to use 1 or all 3 banners in his advertising campaign.
The 3 Banners designed for Paul's consideration are shown below:

After two minor edits, this banner was placed on the AALBC.com homepage

Campaign Launched
Paul chose homepage placement only. We will space out his views so that they last approximately 2 months.
Again, the price of Paul's banner placement is only $500 ($10 CPM).
At the end of the campaign Paul will be supplied a with a report detailing the number of views and clicks per day.
NOTE:
"Below the Fold" describes banner placement where a visitor
would have to scroll down to see the banner (on a monitor using 1,024 X
768 screen resolution). For above the fold placement the banner is
displayed without the visitor having to scroll or page down.
The price for banner placement below the fold is 1/2 to 1/3 less than the price of the same banner placed above the fold.
There are several factors other than placement that draws a visitors attention to a banner including quality of banner design and interest in the advertised product.
Often, a banner placed below the fold is clicked more frequently than a different banner placed above the fold.
Remember for $500 your banner will be viewed 50,000 times on one of the first and most frequently visited site dedicated to books by and about Black people.
