Lynda Jones Mubarak
Dr. Lynda Jones Mubarak is a native Texan, raised in Waco and Ft. Worth. Dr. Mubarak is a graduate of P.L. Dunbar High School, Texas Christian University, Texas Wesleyan University, and Nova SE University. She has always loved reading books and writing articles. As a child, She had a secret dream to become a writer.
“I have a great respect for books or essays that promote personal growth, self-improvement, and resilience. I continued to write short stories and essays while serving as a special education teacher in the Grand Prairie ISD, teaching writing at Strayer University, and as an ESL instructor at Tarrant County College. After teaching 37 years as an educator, I knew it was time to publish and inspire others to follow their dreams and pursue their personal goals.”
Mubarak is currently [2016] working on her second novel,The Author in You: New Writers Searching for a Theme. She and her husband live in Ft. Worth and enjoy traveling and live theater.
