Philana Marie Boles

Philana Marie Boles is a devoted "word artist" who considers a blank page her "canvas", Philana fell in love with reading and writing as a child and says that she is "a lifelong student of literature." She attended the prestigious St. Ursula Academy high school, obtained a BFA in Creative Writing and Theater from Bowling Green State University (on talent and leadership scholarships) and now lives in a suburb of New York City where she is completing a graduate degree in literary arts.

In addition to her books, Philana is a freelance journalist, editorial and media consultant, playwright, screenwriter, and poet. "I am a writer... period," she says. "And nothing fascinates me more than the written word in all its infinite and beautiful forms."
