Beyonce Giselle Knowles hails from Houston, Texas, where she was born on September 4, 1981. Performing from an early age, she was carefully groomed for success by her parents, Matthew and Tina, as the lead singer of Destiny's Child. The teen sensation has since blossomed into a more celebrated icon than almost anyone could have imagined, embarking on a phenomenal solo career, reuniting with Destiny's Child, winning five Grammys along the way, and successfully making the jump to feature films as the sultry Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers 3.

The 5'7' beauty has also landed on virtually every best looking list around. Besides being named one People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People specifically for having the most wanted lips, she's been voted #1 of VH1's 100 Hottest Hotties, #1 of E's Steamiest Southern Stars, #7 of Stuff Magazine's Sexiest Women in the World, #17 of Maxim Magazine's Hot 100, to cite a few.
