Brian W. Smith is president of Hollygrove Publishing, Inc. He is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and currently lives in the Dallas, Texas. His educational background consists of two Bachelor of Science degrees in business administration and criminal justice and an MBA from the University of Dallas.

Brian is the winner of the 2011 AAMBC, Male Author of the Year award. Strebor/Simon Schuster purchased the rights to 2009 best seller, Nina's Got a Secret Smith's 2010 novel, Deadbeat, was nominated for a 2011 Creative Excellence Award in the category of "Most Memorable Character". Sankofa Literary Society ranked the Smith's novel, Beater as a Top Book of 2010 in the Mystery/Suspense category. His novels Beater aqnd Nina's Got a Secret were two-time Dallas Morning News Best Sellers in 2010. Nina's Got a Secret was also listed on Oprah.com (What To Read List).
