Baba Ur Deon-Solek (aka, Roger M. Davis) is a truly gifted spiritual teacher and guide. His first spiritual awakenings began when he was just nine years old. Baba Ur Deon-Solek [BUDS] has studied under a variety of spiritual traditions and with some of the most prominent gurus, imams, ministers, shamans, and scholars of our time. BUDS has made several overseas trips to study, teach, and train others in places as distant and exotic, as India and Egypt.

In 1977 BUDS, while in a deep meditative trance state received the 'Nine Principles of Life,' which are comprised of nine pictographicimages/mandalas. These nine pictographic principles serve as the basis of his teachings, seminars, workshops and the path of initiation he conveys, which is known collectively as IKOLOGIKS.

In 1984, BUDS received personal initiation in Heball, INDIA from a Muslim Saint (His Grace-Dervish (Fakir) Ali Mohammed Pasha). BUDS has studied the ancient spiritual practices and philosophical traditions of India during the

course of four expeditions (1989, 1992, 1993, & 1995) he has made to this sacred land. In 1986, Solek trained for his certification, as a Yoga Therapist under the direction of Dr. Phulgenda Sinha, founder of the Indian Institute of Yoga (Patna, INDIA). BUDS has also received training in the Radiance Technique- (Official Reiki Program).

A graduate of Cornell University, Baba Ur Deon-Solek has upheld the lineage and scholarship of the Samkhya Darshan path of self-power. The Samkhya Darshan was introduced by the Indian Sage Kapila in 700 BC (which also laid the foundation for Buddhism, in 500 BC). BUDS has wedded these two ancient rationalist traditions with his own modern eclectic visions, which are embodied in the IKOLOGIKS: Nine Principles of Life.

Today he is now entering his mid-life period, Baba Ur Deon-Solek has increasingly dedicated himself towards helping others to journey along the path of Self-Realization and Human Transformation through his literary offerings. With the publication of Ultimate Mental Power, BUDS is finally presenting all sides of his diverse and eclectic theories and ideas concerning human development. As we enter the exciting dawn of the NU-AGE, and the coming 21st Century, we are sure to hear increasingly from this seasoned voice of reason, compassion, and Soul-power!
