Killing Them Softly, An Erotic tale of Murder. It is a wild ride from cover to cover. The story centers around Devin James, Avonte Petrocelli and Qianna Patterson and the events that draw these three very different people together. After Devin and his wife Taye lose their second baby, Taye slips into a deep depression. At that point Devin realizes that nights that were once filled with great sexual experiences shared by two people who were desperately in love with each other, were now a distant memory. The doctor told them that Taye’s condition is not simply postpartum depression. She was suffering with a bipolar disorder. Over time and with the help of therapy, she began showing some improvement and Taye’s doctor suggested that they take a trip...
"Why not?" Devin asked excitedly. He thought it was about
time Taye’s doctor suggested something constructive, as much money as they
were paying her. "I think that’s a great idea. I’ll even do the research for
it."
A day later, Devin came home with pamphlets of Puerto
Rico.
"Puerto Rico?" Taye asked. "I’ve never been to Puerto
Rico."
"Then let’s go." Devin got down on his knees and pleaded.
"Let’s do something spontaneous. Something we’ll both remember for the rest
of our lives together."
"All right, I guess," she unenthusiastically responded.
Things didn’t go well and Devin took a moment to marvel at
the fact that things had played out exactly the way he hoped they wouldn’t.
As soon as they got to the hotel and checked into our room, Taye’s mood
started swing. Devin had resolved himself not to let Taye’s mood swings ruin
his much needed vacation, and he was going to have a good time regardless of
what was going on with her.
Devin meets Avonte Petrocelli, a married woman with issues
of her own. Her rich husband Tyrone came home one day and said they needed
to talk. "What do you want to talk about?" Avonte asked.
"I want a divorce."
"What? What did you just say?" she asked, as the tears
began to well in the corners of her eyes.
"I want a divorce." Then Tyrone told her that he had met
somebody, and that he was in love with her. "Well, I didn’t just meet her.
She’s an executive with the company we just acquired. We’ve been working
very closely on the deal, and it just happened." Avonte couldn’t believe her
ears.
"I know this is sudden, and I’m sorry," Tyrone said, and
walked away.
"That’s it?" Avonte yelled though her tears. "You waltz in
here and tell me that you met somebody and you want a divorce. What about
me? What about how I feel?"
"If it’s money you’re worried about, you know you’ll be
taken care of. You’ll never have to worry about that," Tyrone said coldly,
and left the house.
They meet one night at pool and it doesn’t take too long
before the two begin a very steamy affair. While out one night with Devin,
Avonte meets Qianna Patterson; a very beautiful, but unstable woman, fresh
out of prison with a history of violence. After Avonte introduced Qianna to
Devin, she leaned closer to Avonte and whispered. "He’s kinda cute. You
should see if he wanna play with us."
"I don’t remember saying that I wanted to play."
"Oh, you wanna play with me, brown sugar," Qianna said,
and eased her hand between Avonte thighs. It felt like a current of
electricity had shot through her body. Avonte had promised herself that she
would start experiencing everything that life had to offer. "Go ahead. Ask
him. I bet he’ll be down for it."
Qianna was right; about both of them. Avonte wanted to
play with her, and Devin was definitely down for it and the trio become
involved sexually. When Taye makes Devin’s life a living hell, Qianna makes
a suggestion: "If you kill her ass and then you’ll have some peace."
"Just like that?"
"Just like that."
"If it’s so easy, then why don’t you kill her for me?"
"How much you gonna pay me?"
"How much you want?"
Qianna knew Devin didn’t think she
was serious, but she was. Dead serious. I knew
sooner or later that crazy bitch would start fuckin’ wit’ my dick and my
money. Either one was unacceptable. That bitch had to go.
So Qianna gave him a number. High enough that he would know she was serious,
but low enough for him to think about it.
Once the deadly deed is done, their real intentions come
to the forefront, and the drama and murders begin. And just because I know
you love him, Mike Black will make an appearance in this book. Killing Them
Softly is exactly what the sub-title says, an erotic tale of murder. It
contains plenty of sex and murderous drama presented for your entertainment.
