Nina Oteria began writing poetry as a young girl.  Her 5th grade teachers voted her most likely to become the next poet laureate.  She has studied poetry at N.C. State University Young Writers' and Teen Writers' Workshops and has shared her work at public readings.  She is a member of the North Carolina Poetry Society.  Nina lives with her family in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she is a high school honor student.
