Black Christian Authors Write With Passion

Black Christian AuthorsSometimes reading a religious book is like an exercise to put you to sleep. The writing is dry and the themes are heavy and beat you over the head. Most of the time, they provide absolutely no competition for mainstream media's offerings. It's hard to concentrate and even harder to figure out why anyone would want to be a Christian in the first place if the experience parallels what is described in these books. That's where African American independent Christian authors are different.

Whether crafting fine fiction with a religious theme, or powerfully discussing tenets of the faith and their daily implementation Black Christian authors are rarely boring. The entire Black Christian experience is one of emotion and heart connection to the faith. There is little that is staid, rote or repetitive. Religious expression is as much a part of most of these writers' lives as breathing and eating, and it comes bursting through in their work.

This is the place to look to infuse new energy into your own faith. These are books that connect to the heart.
