"This is truly a powerful relationship that we have forged. It is exciting doing business with black organizations that have what it takes to successfully operate in the electronic age. This is a first for BCP and What Next, by Walter, is a wonderful book to promote this way." Paul Coates, owner, director, Black Classic Press.
About the African American Literature Book Club
Founded by Troy Johnson, the African American Literature Book Club is one of the premier web sites devoted to promoting African American authors and their work. The AALBC's rich content includes the profiles of hundreds of published and unpublished authors and poets, descriptions of over 1,000 books -- which can be purchased directly on-line, there is an on-line reading group, on-going discussion boards, chat sessions, audio files of authors interviews and poetry.
Launched in 1996, Mosaicbooks.com was one of the first sites dedicated to promoting literature written by Black and Latino writers. In 1998, the print-publication Mosaic Literary Magazine was launched with the goals of showcasing and honestly critiquing both emerging and established literary voices. In a short period Mosaic has established itself as a necessary quarterly.
Booksthatclick.com is a literary directory of African American web sites, authors and useful web resources for writers of all backgrounds. The site is owned and managed by Earl Cox & Associates Worldwide and Writersandpoets.com, LLC
