Alisa Hyman
is a native of Prince George's County, Maryland and a graduate of Hampton University with a B.A. in English Arts. Although she cites writing as her greatest passion, she makes a living teaching high school English and creative writing, and mentoring and tutoring at-risk youth in Washington, DC. Because Alisa is an only child, she fell in love with books at an early age, and developed her love of writing in a college creative writing course. Alisa enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and, of course, reading and writing. She resides in Prince George's County, Maryland, with her son Michael, who is her greatest inspiration.
