DIALOGUE made its appearance in the market January 1998 to showcase and preserve the multifaceted contributions of historical and contemporary African-American writers and visual artists. As a new venue for promoting the often overlooked African-American literary and cultural markets in mainstream media, Dialogue fills a void with its celebration and promotion of the rich legacy of African-American art and literature, and creates a forum for artists and writers to showcase their intellectual and creative talents.
