An Author You Should Know: Lalita Tademy
Recently a visitor to AALBC.com pointed out that one of her favorite authors, Lalita Tademy was not listed on AALBC.com. Considering how many people enjoyed Lalita’s first novel Cane River, I agreed and quickly remedied the oversight.
Cane River [Warner Books, June 20, 2001 (1st ed.)] was a New York Times bestseller, an Oprah’s Book Club Pick, and an AALBC.com bestselling book. Cane River is a “unique and deeply moving epic of four generations of African-American women based on one family’s ancestral past.”
