Our mission is to open our minds to new experiences visually, emotionally. physically, and spiritually. We are a dynamic group of women, who love to read. Our main focus is to support African American authors and their publishers by purchasing their books and providing an open forum to discuss and share our views and opinions on the content of the books. We meet once a month at one of our members homes where the host has a great meal is prepared for us to enjoy. Just to mix it up a bit, this club plans an outing every three months that takes us beyond the living rooms of the various members and out into the city to experience camaraderie and friendship, we also volunteer in our community.
