Daughters of Africa from Chicago, IL

Daughters of Africa Book Club began in 1999 in Los Angeles, California. It was instituted by Sherise and Stacey, who both are determined to ignite African American Women by exploring and finding a world within themselves. One way that they believed that their vision would become a reality was by establishing a Book-Club full of God Fearing women who are determined to overcome all of life's obstacles by connecting with women with similar ambitions who would ultimately encourage one another to conquer any obstacle when presented with a challenge.
