We are based in the Washington, DC area with members in Virginia, Washington, DC and Maryland. S.O.U. consists of professional black women who meet on the third Sunday of each month to discuss books written by African-American authors. S.O.U. believes that reading is an excellent networking tool that leads us to a better understanding of ourselves.
