  5. Right. It is neither logical nor does it make sense to commit a crime to solve a problem. Took a page out of your book in embellishing the scenario. That's a chance the individual takes and has to deal with the consequences. Further embellishing the scenario, if the individual does end up in the penalty box, hopefully, he won't think every other inmate is a sympathizer. Another inmate will pretend to sympathize, buddy and butter him up. Better know how to protect himself.
  6. Dolemita Meets Fred Sanford.......
  7. ProfD Committing a crime is not a better option. It might be easier or faster but the consequences may render the juice unworthy of the squeeze. The question isn't whether or not it was better, but whether or not it was logical or made sense. It seems senseless until you realize that man was getting a bath while he was asleep. Lol...not unless he was sleeping naked. And if THAT was the case, and the authorities see him....he wouldn't be sleeping out in the elements for long. I meant it literally doesn't make sense to commit a crime in order to solve a problem. To you, perhaps..... I can't argue that. Only the individual(s) can detemime whether or not suffering the consequences of their actions are worth it. Someone sitting in the sidelines cheerleading and agreeing that committing a crime makes sense doesn't have to pay for it i.e. do the time. Correct. It's all good as long as the individual is perfectly fine with going to prison especially if the little girls dies anyway Now wait a minute....... That's not part of the scenario...lol. This scenario was hypothetical. Her dying wasn't actually part of it; only the POTENTIAL for her to die if he hadn't stolen the money...which he did. If he stole the money....and he did...the only logical outcome for the girl would be to live. Now whether or not he actually went to prison was to be determined. Like you said, the judge or jury could be understanding and either reduce the sentencing or dismiss the case all together.
  8. Looks to me like she might RATHER him kiss the dog, then....lol.
  9. One picture doesn't mean her man enjoys kissing the dog more. In fact, Venus is holding the dog between them.
  10. ProfD At some point, people should know that religious scriptures are mostly allegorical. Most people aren't going to accept or acknowledge this. Many of them fear that to even question those scriptures puts them at risk of going to a Hell or being tormented. Infact, most people don't even READ most of the scriptures of their religion. They get bits and pieces of it from clergymen who TELL them what they want them to know. And even the little bit they are told, many of them don't really believe. They just accept it and forget about it in many if not most cases. I was...and still am....different. I believe in THE SUPREME BEING and if you tell me this particular book or scripture is from THE SUPREME BEING I'm going to drop everything I'm doing and read it! Why wouldn't I? What would or could be more important to read, than the words of THE CREATOR and most Powerful BEING in Existence? In my mind, there is nothing else worth reading that could compare. So I read the Bible! It wasn't until AFTER reading the Bible that I realized that this book couldn't have come from THE SUPREME BEING. Not exactly sure who or Who all it came from? But certainly not THE SUPREME BEING. I'm still a little puzzled as to why most people don't have the desire to do the same; but.......

  12. Hurry up with this scene so we can go pose for the poster that will send a subliminal message to all those dumb black girls out there. Then we can have a have lunch together after I wipe off all this green mess off my face. ********** Troy sure knew what he was talking about when he called attention to how much Pioneer relies on stereotypes to reinforce his weak arguments. I agree! The profane "Dolemita" sewage that this jive-assed nigga has grunted out and smelled up the forum with is a crude example of the lengths Pioneer will go through to command attention. Now if he could just come up with some fresh and original material, it might be worth the effort. And the fact that jive-assed nigga has the gall to accuse Hollywood of "having a history of producing movies that send a subliminal racist message" just goes to show how often Pioneer is guilty of what he accuses others of. I haven't waded through the revamped version that the jive assed nigga has pissed out, but I'm sure "Dullomess" is just more of the same - at least that's the word on the street. I thoroughly agree. That's why I broke up with that jive-assed chap. I agree, too. I'm thinkin bout quittin this gig and auditionin for another role that ain't so degradin to us black women.
  13. Dolemita said: "Everybody loves a winner. Go sit back on the bench, Loser!"
  14. Sure. I get it. At some point, people should know that religious scriptures are mostly allegorical. Religion is made up sh8t to keep people in check.
  15. ProfD Based on the scenario, I understand why he did it. Ok, now we're getting somewhere......lol. From a logical perspective, instead of committing a crime he could have: 1) applied for a bank loan 2) started a GoFundMe 3) borrowed money from friends and family While this is true....there's ALWAYS better ways to do something. If we were going to point to better alternatives to determine whether or not something was logical or made sense....what WOULD make sense in this world? Just when you thought of the best way to accomplish a goal....you or another person may immediately be inspired with an even BETTER idea to do it! The ideas don't stop. Better options don't render the former options illogical or senseless. Human beings live in houses made of brick, concrete, and steel today. It's certainly an improvement on the mud huts people stayed in in the past. But the fact that human beings built mud huts to live in....and still do in some places....is LOGICAL and MAKE SENSE because humans need shelter. Even if it's a BETTER alternative to live in a brick building, it's still logical and makes sense to stay in some sort of shelter. An example of something that doesn't make sense would be for a man to sleep out in the elements with rain drops splashing in his mouth while he's snoring. That's senseless. Breaking the law doesn't make sense considering the consequences. Therefore, his actions don't make sense There's a difference between saying something "doesn't make sense" as a figure of speech, and truly believing that a particular action literally doesn't make sense. You're using it as a figure of speech. But you KNOW it made perfect sense for that man to gaffle up that money to help his little girl! and could possible make a bad situation even worse. Just like better alternative actions don't necessarily render a particular action senseless; neither does negative consequences. It depends on the consequences The consequence of going to prison for stealing that money may be heavy, but the consequence of his little girl DYING may be even HEAVIER and harder for him to deal with or even live with, knowing he could have gotten his hands on that money and saved her...but didn't.
  16. @Pioneer1Still pounding on the black man wailing wall. Everybody loves a winner. Go sit back on the bench, Loser!
  17. @ProfDI agree with you. For somebody who considers himself sooo in touch with the "Afro American" scene, Pioneer is frequently off the mark, lacking authenticity. Young black girls are not sittin around, pickin up on messages celebrities are supposedly sending them. They're more interested in hair and nails and eyelashes and fashion - attached to their phones, going on FaceBook threatening each other, working part time at WalMart. They are not suceptible to the idea of white boyfriends. They enthusiastically pursue their own kind. Many attend black colleges, where they will not be around whites guys. Or go to large white universities where they will not be competing with white Barbies for white Kens. It's not until they are full grown adults and have careers and are on the dating merry-go-round that black females make up their own minds and begin to consider other options when it comes to a mate. Plus, the vast majority of them are not going to be superstars in sports or entertainment where they can pick or choose. In fact, as Troy has reminded, most people, including black ones, marry within their own "race" The only explanation for Pioneer's preoccupation with white men is that he's jealous of them, undoubtedly afraid that there's a chance their penises might be quite adequate.
  18. Not seeing videos on them doing it may be enough evidence to satisfy some. However, I would need proof to believe they aren't doing it. Spend time around and observing them. Social media would lead some people to believe Black people are ratchet, ignorant and broke. Those same people would have their minds blown upon riding through Black enclaves of successful people with houses, cars and well adjusted families. The question is why is social media displaying ignorant and dysfunctional Black people instead of the positive.
  19. Based on the scenario, I understand why he did it. From a logical perspective, instead of committing a crime he could have: 1) applied for a bank loan 2) started a GoFundMe 3) borrowed money from friends and family Breaking the law doesn't make sense considering the consequences. Based on the circumstances, the judge and jury might give the man less time in prison for stealing the money. Therefore, his actions don't make sense and could possible make a bad situation even worse.
  20. ProfD Time keeps on ticking. How long should she have waited? She's been all over the world and came across all kinds of men of every culture and socio-economic background. So if a good Black man was what she was REALLY looking for, she probably didn't have to wait at all...lol. Probably could have found one right there in Compton....or just outside of Compton....lol. IF...that was what she was looking for. We've already acknowledged she doesn't need a prince. She's rich. Right.... So what does she need with THAT slack jawed, stubble faced, muthaf- You're dismissing the independent thought of younger females and women. It's easy to dismiss that which didn't exist in the first place....lol. Since when in the history of humanity did most young women practice "independent thought"? By nature, women....especially young women....are HEAVILY influenced by their family, friends, peers, and society in general. And now by social media. Saying I neglect to consider the independent thought of young women is like saying I neglect to consider the chaste behavior of young men....lol. If/when it is time for those females to make dating decisions and marriage partners, other factors will inform it...upbringing, environment, attraction, security, etc. ....and social media. Because that's what it was designed to do. Like Kris Kross said on "Warm it Up": "Cuz' that's what I was born to do." Social media was established and developed to influence the minds of the youth.
  21. What the hell............ Our sister done ran out and got her "dream man". But it seems as if he likes kissing the DOG more than he likes kissing her! I keep trying to tell some of yall sistaz, lol.
  22. ProfD depending on the audience, it's hard to substantiate a position without facts, proof and/or evidence. Definitely so when it comes to anything interpretative. Facts. The judicial system is buillt on using facts, proof and evidence to make the case one way or another. More facts. Bottom line is one should question, challenge and verify information especially if it is presented without facts, proof and/or evidence. I agree with this also, but the problem is when you question religious scripture....regardless of it's translations...some people will say that you are challenging the word of God! Although you're an agnostic, surely you can understand the anxiety that type of feeling can bring to some. Because anyone can be a journalist i.e. report information, fact-checking is a very real thing nowadays. It's hard to fact check something that was written 500 and 1000 years ago ABOUT things that happened 2000 and 3000 years ago...lol.
  23. ProfD The obvious answer is we don't know if women of other cultures downplay the men because.... Well, perhaps that response IS an answer to the question! You have 3 sons.... One is always going to jail and you have to constantly bail him out. I ask you do your other two sons go to jail like that one. ...and because you never had to bail them out, you say you don't know. Ofcourse that's not proof that they never get into trouble or go to jail but....you DO KNOW you've never had to bail them out. So if the other 2 actually DIDN'T get into trouble...the fact that you never had to bail them out of jail would certainly be evidence of that. If you haven't seen women of other cultures getting on social media and dissing and downplaying their own men - no, that doesn't mean they don't. However IF they don't -not seeing any videos of them do that would be evidence that they aren't doing it, lol Women of other cultures do venture outside of it. Look no further than wife of the Vice POTUS I knew quite a few girls from my highschool who used to kick it with boys from other highschools. That's just the way it is. That's human nature. However those are individual choices and people doing what they feel like doing. Indian women who fall in love with and date or marry American White men is different from Indian women getting on social media cussing out Indian men, saying Indian men ain't shit, and grinning while praising White men for how much better they are than Indian men.
  24. ProfD As I said, there's a difference between something making sense and actually AGREEING with it. What I mean by making sense is: following a logical pattern Just because something makes sense or follows a logical pattern, doesn't mean it's the best option or best thing to do. Law enforcement investigates and tracks down suspects of crimes based on logical patterns like MOTIVE and OPPORTUNITY A man stole $20,000 from his job. -Why did he steal the money? -His daughter was sick and her treatment costed money. -He was the teller at a bank. The logical pattern is that from the pressure of his daughter being sick and the money it costed to treat her, and since he work with and around that kind of money all the time and could get it....he broke the law and committed a crime. Was that his best option? Probably not. But you DO understand why he did it right? It DOES make sense as to why he did it even if YOU wouldn't have done it, right?
  25. Time keeps on ticking. How long should she have waited? We've already acknowledged she doesn't need a prince. She's rich. You're dismissing the independent thought of younger females and women. Whatever the Williams sisters choose to do with themselves will not influence thousands of young Black females one way or another. If/when it is time for those females to make dating decisions and marriage partners, other factors will inform it...upbringing, environment, attraction, security, etc.

Bottom line is one should question, challenge and verify information especially if it is presented without facts, proof and/or evidence. Because anyone can be a journalist i.e. report information, fact-checking is a very real thing nowadays. For example, whenever someone tells me something, the 1st thing I want to know is the source. If they tell me it was reported on a social media site...red flag. I walk away.
