....But What About When Black Women Are Disrespected?
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
....along with fear and laziness. Not fear of White folks, fear of failure. Because most Black people don't have the wealth and resources many White folks have, many of them are afraid to take the chances and accept the risks that come with being an entrepreneur because they don't have a cushion of wealth to fall back on if their plans fall through. -

Right. I believe PTSD from slavery led Black folks to prefer working for white folks if allowed instead of being self--sufficient. -
When a person is compromised to any significant degee whether it is drug addiction, gambling debts, poor, homeless, etc., some will do whatever it takes in order to survive.
-
I see your point, although I have a different take. What some consider normal amd what i consider my norms aren't always the same.

Drug addiction will cause a person to do ALL KINDS of crazy shit, which is usually the reason they ended up in jail/prison in the first place. Doing crazy and extreme shit to feed their addiction. One of the reasons I didn't allow myself to use hard drugs was the fear of not being able to afford it if I liked it....lol. I like pizza. I can afford THAT shit.....so I don't mind indulging from time to time. I heard so much about people having a $500 a day coke or heroin habit and it made me wonder how they were able to support it. Unless you're rich....that's a LOT of money for a person of average intelligence to try to come up with EVERY day. At some point you're going to have to start TAKING it.

Remember after Slavery....during Reconstruction....hundreds of thousands of Black families were allotted land by the Union Army and we kept that land for decades...but slowly niggaz started getting "tired" and didn't want to work it or keep it up and started selling it BACK to the children of "massa". And then went back looking for a damn JOB working on the same land he used to own! That's how share-cropping got started. -
Right. I've already stated that age compromises a man. However, if you're referring to a prison situation, senior citizens are housed separately from younger dudes for that very reason. Surely. Drug addiction does lead some folks to engage in abnormal s8xual activities. They are compromised.

Agreed. Boomers and Gen-X were the 1st to have any type of inheritance. We can only hope that as Black folks get used to having money that inheritances do not get squandered in one way or another. -
How many 70 or 80 year olds do YOU know who can fight off the sexual advances of the average 20 or 30 year old man.....in close quarters with no weapons? You must not have met too many drug addicts...lol

Let's hope the future generations don't GIVE their inheritance away like so many of those in the past. I don't know how many Black folks worked in those car factories in Detroit 30 and 40 years to buy houses and properties and leave it to their children only for it to end up in the hands of the city from neglect or the state because their children forfeited it for drug trafficking and other illegal activities. They say a fool and his money soon parts. -
Age makes a man comprised if he can no longer defend himself. Allowing is a bis8xual position. A real straight man isn't voluntarily taking it under any circumstances.

ProfD replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Exactly. Black folks have money individually. However, Black folks do not have generational wealth building institutions. Let's hope white folks continue allowing future generations of Black folks to hold something. Otherwise, when AI takes over most jobs, Black folks will be the 1st out the door. White folks gotta feed their own. -
Well, aside from AGE being a factor.....because you do have elderly people in prison who aren't strong enough to fight off some of these young bucks..... The fact is, some men....straight men....for whatever reason....ALLOW themselves to get poked.
-
Unless a straight dude is over-powered by several people or drugged, he should be able *fight* well enough to maintain his manhood. If a man cannot defend himself against being taken advantage of by another man...he's already compromised.

ProfD We already are! Lol...when was the last time you watched ESPN? You can't turn on your television without seeing rich Black men in loud pin-stripped suits grinning and running their mouths. Sitting at desks. Giving the news. On stage telling jokes and running their mouths. Rich niggaz on national television wearing suits and SLAPPING the shit out of eachother..... And more rich niggaz in the audience watching it and grinning.... WE GOT MONEY! Look at Congress and all the Black folks you see in red dresses and bald heads, pointing fingers and walking fast with stacks of papers in their hands. I was at Starbucks today and saw so many niggaz in Audis and Benzes roll up and hop out their rides... it made me proud, lol. This wasn't Chicago or Atlanta either....this is in a relatively small town in western Michigan, but plenty of Black folks obviously doing VERY well. The struggle comes when we try to rise COLLECTIVELY. So many of us think at an individual level and can't get along with other Black folks. -
Democratic House Minority Leader Blows Hot Air
ProfD replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Yep. They have divided themselves into the Progressive Far Left and Moderate/Centrist. Neither has much power over real Republicans. -

Yep. They piggybacked on Civil Rights Movement. White men got tired of them complaining and lumped that sh8t together. Gotcha. Understand your perspective. Hopefully, I'll still be around whenever Black men use their power to redistribute wealth. -

It appears that Democrats are nothing more than Republican lite. What I've been noticing for years....decades now...is how they play the game. Republicans will come along and introduce some right-wing policy. Usually it doesn't get passed and the Democrats will PRETEND to fight against it. They'll wait a few years or wait until we change Presidents a couple times and then the Republicans will introduce an EVEN MORE extreme and asinine right-wing policy 10 times worse than the one they originally pushed for. The Democrats will them come through with THAT same policy that was originally pushed by Republicans but offer it as a milder and tamer alternative that the public will find more palatable. They did this with Health Care. They did this with Welfare Reform. They did this with Affirmative Action. The Democrats pushed more Republican policies through than Republicans themselves. -

Right. Those same Democrats could have codified Roe v Wade. Nope. Two sides of the same coin or two wings on the same bird. -

ProdD I still believe it is a cultural thing with those dudes treating their women like 2nd class citizens. Absolutely. It's part of their cultures and religions itself! Their very religions regulate women to 2nd class status and that below man so they don't even see it as wrong. They see it as being "right" and the moral thing to do. Just like many of them see STONING women to death for being disrespectful the right and moral thing to do. The main reason those same dudes treat their women *better* here in the US is because of the laws. They don't wanna end up in the penalty box. Well that's obvious. However the change in the laws and policies to protect women were HEAVILY influenced by Black men. Remember the Women's Movement didn't really pick up steam and get anywhere until the CIVIL RIGHTS Movement took off in the 50s. White women had been complaining about mistreatment, wanting to vote, and suffrage decades, starting way back in the 1800s. Susan B. Anthony and 'em. But it didn't get anywhere UNTIL the 60s when Black men ran up to the door and kept White men so busy fighting and trying to keep US out that White women were able to squeeze past and get in. I don't believe the number of FBA men in those other countries is significant enough to make a difference to the white men there. The difference is made PSYCHOLOGICALLY. If push really came to shove....places like Australia and France don't have enough FBA to really turn up. England does. Canada...probably...probably not...lol. ....but those nations are so heavily INFLUENCED by FBA sub-culture that they have enough PSEUDO-NIGGAZ to influence the culture and norms of society. Hiphop other aspects of Black American sub-culture...both positive and negative.....is so embraced by Africans, West Indians, and even Arabs and Asians in those nations, they pretty much ALL act like niggaz when ain't no REAL niggaz around, lol. Go to some parts of France or Australia and you'll see a Chinese girl bouncing down the street Crip Walking better than you ever saw Snoop doing it....lol. White countries seem to be less restrictive than other countries where they keep women covered up and won't let them learn or drive Well like I said, that's ONLY because of the presence of men of color. Where do you think the oppressive anti-female culture that you find in places like Arabia and Pakistan COME from? It originally came from the Caucasians who invaded and imposed it on these regions. Arabs are pretty much the descendants of Caucasian men who stole the region and forced themselves on women of color killing off and enslaving the rest of the population. Same with much of India. Ofcourse THEY are mixed race and many of them are Black, but the racist and sexist mentality REMAINS through out the region. It was passed down from father to child. - Yesterday

I've said it before and I'll continue to say it, if a man can get an erection for another man...especially one strong enough to penetrate his anus....his ass is ALREADY gay/bisexual. He didn't "turn" that way in prison....lol. Now if he's RECEIVING...that's a different story. You don't need to be "stimulated" or "turned on" to receive....all you need is a hole. A straight dude can "get it" either voluntarily or by force. But an erection means you were stimulated and turned on.....and turned up....to turn somebody out! The Romans and Greeks didn't stop at homosexuality and p----ilia, they also engaged in sex with animals too. As the late great Neely Fuller Jr. reminded us from time to time, when you see statues like this around Europe: Half man....half horse. That MEANS something. They didn't just dream that up to be "artistic". That means they actually tried to PRODUCE creatures like that....by fucking horses. ...and goats, and sheep, and chickens, and camels, etc.

They should have been fighting for Universal Healthcare instead of some disastrous and confusing Obama Care that makes the insurance companies richer than they already are. At one point during Obama's Presidency....both the House of Representatives AND the Senate was majority Democrat and I think the S-Court more Left leaning than they are today. They not only could have passed Universal Healthcare but they probably could have CONSTITUTIONALIZED it and made it a Constitutional Right of every citizen. -
If you look at it in isolation, it's not so obvious. But when you look at that location AND the number of long walls and fortresses that have been built AROUND that location that encircles it. Great Wall of China Wall of Gorgan Wall of Bukhara ....walls and fortresses that have been built at different periods of history, all support some sort of effort to CONTAIN people and PROTECT one's territory from being overran by outsiders. Infact, much of the history of Caucasians being "contained" in this region is actually buried in mythology. The "Watchers" you read about in non-canon Christian and Jewish literature like the Book of Enoch actually is based on these Black guards who were sent to that central Asia region to "watch" over the White people who were driven up there.

Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is still selling tickets to a fight against Republicans that doesn't exist. Rep. Jeffries is vowing that Democrats will continue fighting for Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits. There's no path to Democrats winning a fight when Republicans are majority in House and Senate. Rep . Jeffries House seat may be safe for now. However, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer's political future is in jeopardy as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may primary him. Regardless, the Democrats are as stable as a 3 leg chair in Congress. They are powerless. Somebody needs to tell Rep. Jeffries to sat down somewhere...else.

the continued adventure from 'To Love and To Hold' by Richard Murray Love is a beautiful thing, seen everywhere plus everywhere not seen. Sometimes, it has challenges. The biggest being the lies we tell ourselves or the truths that can't be changed. Eme and Henshaw dealt with this before, when Henshaw was nearly denied to marry because of a possibility in his past, and when Eme was nearly denied because of a possbility Henshaw didn't want to see. What if, two others, not so large of body, and far older in time, have a similar problem. "To Love and to Hold" was directed by Ndubuisi Okoh. It starred Kate Henshaw-Nuttal, Michael Okon, Fred Essien, Joke Silva, Mariatherese Rogers, Karian Abasimfon URL https://www.kobo.com/ebook/the-janidogo Join the calendar for more news The calendar entry https://aalbc.com/tc/events/event/293-the-janidogo-11112013/
