DESCRIPTION:\n	Miles of Style from Lisa D. Brathwaite\n\n	Miles of Style

\n\n\n\n	Martin Luther King jr. once said \"... to tell a bootless man
to pick himself up by his bootstraps is\n\n\n\n	a cruel jest.\" While the
murdered leader referred to whites\, once the enslavers\, speaking to\n\n\
n\n	blacks\, once the enslaved\, in the U.S.A.\, the basis from which any
succeed is extremely plus\n\n\n\n	rarely bootless. While \"Miles Of Style\
" functionally plus intentionally doesn't provide the most\n\n\n\n	detaile
d biography of Eunice Johnson\, founder of the Ebony Fashion Fair. Said bo
ok\, written by\n\n\n\n	Lisa D. Braithwaite\, shows in brief how having bo
ots is not irrelevant\, unimportant\, or\n\n\n\n	inexcusable in the abilit
y to strive in life\, in the U.S.A. or anywhere else\, at any time. The bo
ots\n\n\n\n	Eunice Johnson had\, made by her parents plus community\, led
to Johnson creating\, shepherding\,\n\n\n\n	or growing the Ebony Fashion F
air\, the main subject of “Miles Of Style”\, to a mandatory\n\n\n\n	el
ement of human history.\n\n\n\n	Braithwaite's literature\, accompanied by
illustrations from Lynn Gaines\, is truly chic\; they\n\n\n\n	provide a fi
nancially sparing while efficient biography of the Ebony Fashion Fair\, ce
ntered on an\n\n\n\n	incomplete while mandatory biography of a Black woman
\, born surrounded by elegance or\n\n\n\n	contemporary fashion from inside
a blockaded Black populace in the U.S.A. The boots she was\n\n\n\n	born i
n supported her life path\, a branch of which led to her showcasing the fa
shion she was born\n\n\n\n	surrounded by to all outside her blockaded comm
unity\, in the U.S.A. or beyond\, in the style of a\n\n\n\n	modern-day inf
luencer.\n\n\n\n	The book is full of positive\, in color tone or compositi
on\, pastel illustrations of Black people in\n\n\n\n	the USA mostly plus o
verwhelmingly\, not totally\, consistent in illustrative style or storytel
ling\n\n\n\n	flow.\n\n\n\n	The book delivers on all the promises in its su
	mmary concerning Eunice Johnson: rearing\,\n\n\n\n	education\, marriage\,
Ebony Magazine\, Ebony Fashion Fair. A rough approximation is half of the\
n\n\n\n	book concern Eunice Johnson before the Ebony Fashion Fair\, and fo
ur fifths concern her life\n\n\n\n	during and after the Ebony Fashion Fair
.\n\n\n\n	The Black populace in humanity\, the tribes native to each conti
nent plus immigrant communities\n\n\n\n	through enslavement or free will\,
has many\, not all or most\, who adore stories about Black\n\n\n\n	people
who lived in no less glamour or peace than non-Blacks in times before the
modern\n\n\n\n	internet age. This book with its illustrations plus histor
y delivers such a story.\n\n\n\n	I am not six or eleven years old\; I cann
ot say how a child will react while or after reading this\n\n\n\n	book. Bu
t as an adult who has read to children\, I think adult readers to children
\, in homes as well\n\n\n\n	as the secondary educational institutions call
ed schools\, will have a chance to share Eunice\n\n\n\n	Johnson's depicted
story\, and along the way may learn from the book while the book never st
ops\n\n\n\n	trying to uplift the viewer or reader with positive\, creative
\, energy.\n\n\n\n	The book can inspire any child\, any phenotype or age o
r location\, to color more or design more\n\n\n\n	or imagine more beyond a
ny perceived or real limitations. Said creativity is the road to the\n\n\n
\n	destination of being truly chic. This book\, if owned\, will be part of
the boots one needs to walk\n\n\n\n	said road.\n\n\n\n	 \n\n\n\n	 \n\n\
