  1. Troy that's funny. it's been going on for a bit. Its interesting not to be involved for a change. You and Pioneer are more fixed. Cynique is less fixed but will considereal other views. Mel us pretty open until the ither conversant stops either thinking or listening. But it is entertaining.

  3. You are mixing belief and logic. Troy it is both reasonable and logical to assume either position. They are both valid arguments. However neither is provable. My position is that numbers were created not discovered. Which would make all mathematically based or proved science a belief system. i used to believe we had free will. Now i think it operates maybe 25% of the time or less. And only in situations where a real choice exists. This is due to some things i have found in the psychic realm. My current belief is that we are following a script. Which means we don't have free will. However we wrote the script. Since we are here to learn. The easiest way of seeing this is look at both your frustrations and what gives you the most joy. Since they are probably the same, just poles apart. So we are gods. And we are all connected. The sum total of all positive expression would be a Creator. And the counterbalancing force of negativity is the destroyer. And the individual sustains both those energies internally. Brahma The Creator Shiva The Destroyer Vishnu The Sustainer. Yes but i have a real difficulty agreeing with Pioneer. For a whole hosts of reasons.

  4. @sabine ziya As always, the best thing to do is submit your work to any publisher when the time comes. You have to be pure to your story and then , resubmit it accordingly if need be. I checked fifty shades of grey, it is listed as contemporary or romance so... at least in kobo you can categorize your work as such. but you should check the publisher you will use for your book

  5. {sighs with exasperation} @Pioneer1 The dictionary just describes how the race is used. It is not a scientific definition. Wikipedia is not the best sources of information, but if you read the entire document, you will see the evolution of the word over time and across cultures. It also describes how the science has evolved leading to the knowledge that race is purely a social construct. There is no basis in our genetics to allow us to categorize us into "races." All of this information is in the document that YOU referenced Pioneer. It is amazing how people can read a document and come away with completely difference conclusions. But why am I surprised people do this with the Bible, and Cynique can do the with a Merrian Webster article Now I know old habits die hard, and I have had to change my thinking in race too. Dude there is only once human race. I know stubborn and uninformed people will continue say brown skinned people are in the Black race and pink people are in the white race. They will continue to apply all of the racial stereotypes that go with the categorization (i.e. people whose eyes don't have the epicanthic fold are better at math) long after we are gone...

  6. @Pioneer1, the science is clear. There is only one race and the world is an oblate spheroid not flat. This is not "my word" or "your word." These are just facts man. Again, this is my point: you have no problem disputing facts based upon your own limited knowledge and intuition. The only saving grace in our conversation is that you now know the truth. Now if you continue to reject that reality and form conclusions based upon this falsehood, that is up to you. But once someone makes it clear to me that the will reject facts in favor of their opinion I try not to pursue the argument any future. I did previously present you with a lot of information, but I guess you missed, ignored, or failed to understand it. At this point you can simply look it up on your own.

  7. The epitome of mansplaining. I well aware of the "soup kitchen" community. You just need to be kept in check when you resort to hyperbole as was the case with you declaring that white college students were being paid $50,000 a year for serving hot meals to drug addicts, and subsequently contradicting yourself by saying these white kids serving hot meals to drug addicts were ones sentenced by the court to do community service. Keep it real.
