Abbott Nutrition decided that spending the money to clean equipment at its shuttered baby formula plant in Sturgis, Mich., was not as important as enriching its shareholders. In fact, FDA officials were given warnings about food safety violations at the plant in October 2021, according to a 34-page document reviewed by staff at Politico. The document, which detailed lax cleaning practices at the plant, was sent along to the FDA officials. Two infants died after Abbott officials deliberately falsified records about the dirty plant equipment, a whistleblower said. This is why the Sturgis plant was ordered to shut down creating a terrible shortage of baby formula. As new mothers screamed in anger and impotence, Republicans claimed President Joe Biden was secretly hiding baby formula for use by immigrants. They even had the nerve to claim photos taken at an immigrant detention center proved it. But the boxes in the photos turned out to be powdered milk. Unadulterated avarice and lying led to this situation. The first link proves what I said about Abbott enriching shareholders at the expense and risk of infants' health. Don't stop there, Sis! Keep thinking it through. Laws are never divisive. It is the application of the law that divides the people. You brought up marijuana laws - look at the 2022 map, determine where marijuana is illegal, then look at incarcerated people based on the laws written for possession and distribution of marijuana. If you feel inspired, look at the record of the prosecuting attorneys involved in those cases - and law enforcement. Next, look at the states where marijuana is legal - or a misdemeanor- to see how those states seek to offer retribution to those tried and convicted under all laws. Once you gather that information - see if there's any relation to proposed criminality for terminating an unwanted pregnancy. Legislators who protect your freedoms separate themselves from those who don't. Vote for the ones who create legislation to protect you.

Nels, You could never flabbergast me. I've long known what you represent and whom you punch a time card for. It's nice that you took time out from doing combat on your "Battlefield of Life." You're an incorrigible hater of the Black Race and any of us who excels. You likely have a subconscious disdain of Black people. I'm just hoping it's a ruse and that you're getting some sort of recompense for positioning yourself this way. The Black Community in the U.S. is under siege. And this has nothing to do with Leftists. It has to do with those who stick their heads either in the sand or the clouds.

My concern is that a white guy shot and killed 10 black folks in a grocery store. The shooter apologized for pointing his weapon at a white person laying on the floor. The police didn't fire a single shot at him. They allowed this guy with a gun in hand to decide whether he's was going to kill himself or surrender. Racism is very real. It's a fact that many black folks are dealing with racist crap in one way or another every day.

The Buffalo shooter admitted that he was a racist who was indoctrinated by white supremacist ideologies.

I do not believe a God would sanction slavery but rhetorically, I do wonder why it would be allowed to exist among the supposedly highest form of intelligence.
