Perhaps the AMERICAN people simply want competent leadership. Not DO-NOTHING KAMALA. AMERICANS have been suffering economically and in other ways ever since BIDEN was installed, because he shut down oil production and mandated people to buy EVs, rescinded all of TRUMP's effective border policies, and all the rest of the DUMPSTER CLUSTERS that BIDEN foisted upon us like the botched Afghanistan exit, money to Iran, weakened military, two conflicts/wars, Laptop Hunter, inflation, food shortages, lawlessness, homelessness, CCP and terrorists inside our borders, spending FEMA money on illegals, and numerous other disasters. KAMALA thought she was a shoo-in, and so she refused to do interviews and disclose her actual policies, although she had already made herself clear on such issues as open borders, defund the police, fracking, abortion, green new deal, climate change, trans surgeries for prisoners, men in women's bathrooms and sports, and countless other liberal leftist ideology. KAMALA thought that being endorsed by Oprah Doprah, Eminem, Beyonce, JLo, Gaga, Barack, Michelle, Cheney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dick Van Dyke, Katie Holmes, Cardi B, Alec Baldwin and all the rest, would get her elected. KAMALA thought that she could pander to people by saying that she was BLACK and from the middle class, both of which are questionable. KAMALA thought that people would forget how she had hundreds of BLACK men incarcerated for minor offenses. KAMALA thought that she could beat TRUMP by hurling insults and zingers, waving her hands, pointing her fingers, and pulling dumb faces. KAMALA thought she could call TRUMP a dictator, fascist, Hitler, criminal, and other nonsense, when she should have been addressing those insults to members of the Democratic Party. KAMALA thought she could LAUGH her way out of answering serious questions. KAMALA thought that she could lie to the AMERICAN people about too many things to even track. But KAMALA thought wrong. AMERICANS don't want to live in an open-air prison. AMERICANS want to live free and be safe and secure. AMERICANS don’t want political opponents attacked with LAWFARE. AMERICANS expect more from government officials. Years ago, this forum was a place where you could find real, intelligent conversation. Unfortunately, those days are LONG gone and it’s sad, as well as boring. It would really be GREAT if you all brought this forum back up to the standard that it used to be. MAKE THIS FORUM GREAT AGAIN!!!

Kamala was not the candidate to run against Trump. America is not ready for a black woman president. Americans are showing you what they are. Dems have shown how naive and idealistic they are.

Today, Americans exercise their civic duty in electing the leadership of the country up and down the ballot. Regardless of who one chooses to vote for and whether they do it early or by mail or in person, it is an exercise that comes around every 4 years for the national election. Every 2 years for other elections. Time flies. Seems like just yesterday we were doing the same thing on the national level.

Americans won't allow the country to become a dictatorship. Election returns were not as a close as 2020. No recount necessary. Worse for VP Harris than it was for Clinton in 2016. Instead of a red wave, they're calling this win a red tsunami. White men do not want a woman running the country. They convinced their wives to stay on code. Black men are not in the rural areas of states that she lost. IOW, Black folks showed up for VP Harris in the places that they dwell. VP Harris cannot blame Black men or anybody else for that azz whuppin'. Michelle Obama is a dark-skinned woman. White folks definitely wouldn't have voted for her. It would have been a landslide all right. Until America is in a different place, Democrats have to nominate a man. Considering POTUS OJ got reelected, It doesn't matter what kind of baggage he carries. The Democrats need to grow a spine and come up with a better plan for putting money in American pockets. We'll continue having national elections another every 4 years. Democracy is not in jeopardy.

Kamala is flawed but Trump is sn embarrassment, - the personification of everything that besmirches and disgraces the office of POTUS. America should be ashamed of itself. And the American people should be frightened over what this egomanical, pathological liar will turn this country into. And your criticism of this forum is unwarranted. Things aren't any worse than they were when you were here.

From this election, Americans learned the campaign issues were smoke screens i.e. economy, immigration, reproductive rights, etc. The two main issues on the ballot were 1) if America was ready for a female POTUS znd 2) referendum on former POTUS Orange Julius. It appears American voters are still so far against having a woman POTUS that they are willing to re-elect a clown with more baggage than United Airlines. Interestingly, neither side of the media is willing to admit that America doesn't want a female POTUS. The talking heads are spinning it every other way. America has shown that it remains loyal to patriarchy and racism. During his victory speech, the picture showing the folks who lined up behind POTUS OJ reinforces the story too. The next 4 years will go by fast. If there is any consolation for the opposition, POTUS OJ cannot run again for several reasons.

It’s not a matter of a black woman. It’s a matter of not wanting a woman of any color. From jump, it never occurred to me that if Hillary couldn’t beat Trump, how in the heck could Kamala? It is still too early to call it now, but it does not look good for the Dems on any level.
