Discussions related to this very topic mainly between @Pioneer1 and I are sprinkled throughout various threads.

I hope African countries are successful in kicking and keeping the French out of their affairs.   That goes for every other foreign entity crippling their sovereignty.

It's not an easy lift especially with the US, European and Asian super powers siding with France as fellow neocolonialists.

Amish people have been slow to embrace technology.  They haven't been plunged into a state of chaos or conquered.

As always, the devils stole, remixed, codified and sold something back to Black folks.

That white man used words instead of a gun to mentally program i.e. brainwash a group of boys (males). Filling  their heads with BS. No parents around.

A picture is worth a thousand words. The above is just one example of the trick that white folks have played out against Black folks for several centuries and counting.

Justice was served to an extent. This situation should never have happened.

None of the so called Black organizations put a bullseye on it. No NAACP. No Al Sharpton. No Ben Crump. 

In general, Black folks need to seriously consider taking self-defense measures to avoid becoming victims.

Of course, we believe high speed internet is essential because we've gotten accustomed to it.

However, there are billions of people living in the world untethered to the grid.

The reality of essential becomes more evident as we get older.

Unfortunately, the resources in Africa have been controlled by white folks for more than 100 years. 

Today's Africans cannot reclaim their land and resources without going to war against white folks. 

The easy way out for most people seems to be 1) selling out and taking whatever white folks are willing to give or 2) leave the country and try to build a better life being an Uber driver in a white country. 

A coup is the way some folks try to fight back and reclaim their country.

Problem is the new leaders aren't strong enough to control resources, build economy and maintain sovereignty. Then, there's the greed and corruption. 

It's only a matter of time before white folks con and arm the next wannabe leader to stage a coup. Rinse and repeat. 

As I mentioned in another thread, Muammar Gaddafi was the last African leader who fully understood the problem. He wanted to unite Africa. We know that outcome. 

Orchestrating the assassination of Gaddafi was the white man's way of serving notice to any Black man who wants to get out of pocket.

Yep. I don't imagine Kevin Samuels chose to go out with a bang but it was better than alternatives.

IMO, dying in one's sleep is better than years of pain and suffering from a debilitating disease or illness or getting killed violently or from an accident. 

Doctor said I have sleep apnea. Suggested a CPAP machine. I asked doc what's the worst that could happen to me. 

Doc said I could die in my sleep. I smiled.  Told him I'm good with that and threw up deuces and left without a machine.

As a relatively healthy man otherwise, I can't go to bed with a mask on my face like snufflelufagas. It's not a sexy look.

Over a decade later, I'm still breathing and waking up. I would gladly check out like brotha Samuels when my times up.

Another island nation having issues.

Cubans are dealing with food shortages and power outages and inflation. The leadership is worried about protests. 

There is no reason for food shortages anywhere on this planet.  Nobody should ever go hungry or be homeless either. 

The most developed countries throw away almost as much food as they consume. Farmers can provide plenty if they're not being paid to stop producing  

My position is not steeped in socialism. I'm of the belief that human beings should do a better job of taking care of each other. 

Eliminate greed and corruption and immediately end most societal problems. 

Even the news has become another form of entertainment.  It has morphed beyond keeping us informed into a soap opera/sitcom. 

Personalities get paid millions of dollars to sit behind a desk and spin, er, tell us what's going on in the world. 

The news media brings in subject matter *experts* and victims to add weight to their stories.  Then, there's the opinion side of it too.

I remember when the news was a boring 1 hour watch.  Not anymore.  Grab your popcorn.

The title is misleading because it doesn't provide enough context for what POJ said.

Sensationalism is the name of the game in journalism and media nowadays. 

We definitely have to read beyond the surface and from multiple sources in order to get the real story.

They aren't White....nor do they have the military might of the West.

And White folks are woven all through those nations like they are in Africa....yet these nations don't look like African nations.

One reason is that the people in Asia are busy working and working and grinding to support their own economy along with allowing White folks in it.
But they aren't the main players driving it.

Asians seem to be docile and subservient.  Because they were not enslaved by white folks, they don't seem to mind being a cheap labor force to white countries. 

In turn, the Chinese are using their money and labor to do business in and develop certain parts of Africa.  China is enriching itself by extracting resources from Africa.

Non-white countries are not 1) inherently evil enough to see work domination and 2) do not have the military might to defend themselves against super power countries. Their best strategy appears to be cooperation. 

China and Japan have enough muscle and/or backing to exploit weaker countries.  That is their panacea to coping with racism white supremacy.

Black countries can see the game being played against them.  Unfortunately, being naturally peaceful is a curse more than a blessing.

If Black countries got on code and built strategic alliances among themselves, they could end white domination in a matter of years. 

The *problem* is Black folks have been brainwashed into waiting on a white savior to deliver them the evils of this world.  Go figure.
