  1. "It is a cliché,  but I don't think opposites attract either.  I have the most fun with people who I commonality with. Some difference are tolerable but I doubt I could be involved with someone who is an active bumper-sticker-using, maga-hat-wearing, Trump supporter.  Now if there were a republican supporter because thet were fiscally conservative that is a different thing, and we could argue the relative benefits of that mind set..."

I agree. I could not have worded it better for myself. I am reasonably tolerant of different views. But one thing I will NOT tolerate is Trump apologists and supporters. If they are so-called conservative/Republicans...we can debate policy and politics. I don't have a problem with that. But if you support the toxic and destructive "BIG LIE" of Donald Trump...that's where I draw the line. My issues with him have nothing to do with politics...it is his shameless pathological lying...nauseating arrogance and stunning ignorance that I cannot tolerate. And I also agree with you comment about "opposites attract" as no more than a cliche. Why would someone who is deeply religious be attracted to atheists? Why would a person who has no interest in sports seek out a sports fanatic? Or why would a homebody type of person be attracted to someone who runs the streets and loves going to clubs, bars, street scenes, parties, etc? Makes no sense.....

  2. "There is nothing like observing a 70 year old negro with a nappy white beard sitting infront of a liquor store drinking cherry Kool-aid and eating skittles shamelessly begging for money as he grins and lets his bright red tongue just flap away! Many of our people have become a living mockery in society."

Well, not much you can say to that. It seems this particular behavior is common among Americans Negroes. Only they have the power to change it. Unfortunately, I don't see anything currently nor in the future that is going to change any of it

    .....

  3. “ i have seen maury's show but i don't watch it regularly for obvious reasons.”

That’s probably a good idea. But if you have seen it, so much for the black female damsel in distress and needing a black man’s defense…

  4. ”Give that we BOTH agree that this would be a disaster......wouldn't you like to know IF factors were being introduced into YOUR environment to increase the amount of homosexuality?

Ha! I’m still trying to bend my mind around your suggestion that there could possibly be "factors to increase black homosexuality". I’ve never heard of such thinking (black people possibly being targeted for homosexual population increases). Perhaps you could articulate what you think these factors could be if it were to happen….

  5. "We can't rely on the bias and highly erroneous methods of Western scholarship to organize and preserve data...especially when it comes from people of color. "

Really? Ok. So, can you recommend a complimentary and proven non-western method of scholarship and documentation? Since you loathe and dismiss Western standards of science and academic scholarship, I'm sure you can provide us with an equal (or even superior) non-white methodology. I'm kinda excited and looking forward to your listing of proven non-Western alternative disciplines and methodologies....

  6. "I believe many of these social pathologies are as a direct result of AfroAmericans as a group TRYING to copy Caucasians and adopt Caucasians morality, ethics, and social/sexual habits instead of developing those of our own."

Oh really? So, you believe most of the dysfunction found in American Negro culture is a direct result of Negroes attempting to emulate white people and white culture? Is what you really believe?

  7. "It's BS the U.S. is all-of-sudden shocked by how men get pussy, and women get what they want; even if they have to go to Court to get it. Serves him right; though, for submitting to White male ways to fulfill his needs."

Ha! Ha! Ha! That's funny! Being a white male has absolutely nothing to do with sexually assaulting, exploiting or raping a woman. ALL RACES AND ETHNICITIES OF MEN SEXUALLY ABUSE AND RAPE WOMEN! Cosby was found guilty today and it is a good thing. The man is sexual viper and predator. His wealth and fame could not protect him this time. Justice was served...

  8. "It has occured to me that well over half the products found in most of these beauty supply stores focus around exploiting Black self-hatred.

Their biggest selling points are convincing Black people that these products will make them "less Black" or "less African".

Everything from the wigs, hair relaxer, hair bleach, skin bleaching cream, blue and green contacts, pink and red lip stick, blue eye shadow, wave pomades, doo-rags, hair texturizer kits, ect......

If Black people would just develop a solid wholesome love for themselves and how they looked, the Koreans would go out of business in Harlem and other Black communities all over America in less than a month."

Good point! If Negroes were producing a competitive product, they would not experience this so-called lock out. It's called free market! Produce a superior product and people will buy it. And yes, marketing has a lot to do with it. For example, here in SoCal, brown, red and blond ales used to be common and readily available (my favorite). But now, with the unprecedented explosion in microbreweries -you will find this particular ale almost non-existent in the seemingly countless number of microbreweries! The rage now is IPA's and fusion beers. Why is that? Not sure but it is based on market demand and acceptance. And I do agree with the tragic and depressing wig/weave addiction with black American women. To see a black woman with her natural hair is as common as seeing a woman who is 6'3". Of course they exist, but how often do you see them? And if you throw in the media -the wig/weave dominance is 98.5%! How sad is that?

  9. "Actually YOUR stance on "race" is illogical.

Knowing that race is a CATEGORY, logically speaking there MUST be more than one option.

So for you to take the position that there is only ONE race....the human race.

Is like saying that there is only ONE flavor of soda pop....the "soda pop" flavor.

    See my point?"

No I don't. Did you know in 1950, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) issued a statement asserting that all humans belong to the same species and that “race” is not a biological reality but a myth. This was a summary of the findings of an international panel of anthropologists, geneticists, sociologists, and psychologists? And I'm sure you are aware the Journal of Science produced an article entitled, "Taking Race out of Human Genetics". They are not the only group of scientists and geneticists to advocate the same position. But of course your scientific research and verifiable documentation can and will prove them wrong. Correct? I am very curious to hear your argument that clearly debunks and proves their advocation flawed and unacceptably incorrect. Please give us a reference for your body of research and documentation. I'm very open minded and curious as to what your particular counter-science has produced....

  10. "Being employed is not synonymous with earning a living wage.  And the drop in black unemployment is simply the culmination of a trend that started during the Obama administration."

This is very true. Like you, I find it insulting and a very devious ploy by Fuhrer Trump to attempt to take credit for something that was already happening. Unemployment was falling in constant numbers before he took office! Of course the Trump zombies will bleat and swallow every word of this deliberately misleading claim (under his stewardship -he personally is responsible for the decrease in unemployment). The GOP and the White House cabal are the ultimate spinmeisters. The world see's it everyday!

  11. "The only way the so-called "gang problem" will be solved will be to allow Black and Brown men an opportunity to help RE-DESIGN this society in a way that they won't feel so left out."

And what is preventing them from doing so? You, like everyone else in this country, are to free to organize any type of gang or organization you desire. People do it every single day. You are free to form a collective that shares a common ideology or goal. What is preventing them from doing so? just curious.....

  12. Wow! I really like this discussion! I see good points on both sides. However, I have to disagree with bro Troy. I noticed your attempt to explain or at least rationalize the dissonance between black Americans and Africans. White people have nothing to do with the pro/con points Ms. Cynique and Pioneer are making. I really tire at this nefarious attempt to explain any dysfunction among black people as a direct result of white intervention. Black people are free to make independent personal decisions about their lives. They are also free to make observations and assessments about other black people (good or bad) without the white man whispering in their ear, dictating their every opine.

  13. "When will the time come where Mel, Del, Cynique, and Troy along with other Black professionals and thinkers sit down at a conference table and map out THEIR OWN economic plan designed specifically for BLACK AMERICA?

Tell White analysts and investors that if they want to play around with robots and rubics cubes, by all means knock yourselves out.....but as for US....we're going to focus on agricultural and industrial development."

  14. “Why do so many Black people like a show that basically tells the world how brave and attractive White men are? Does it not promote White supremacy?

No. Not necessarily. Perhaps it’s a well written series that has garnered a large cult following because people like it regardless of their race or ethnicity. Is that possible? Does an “all black series” promote black supremacy or has some subliminal black meaning? Or could it be stories about people who happen to be black? And since we are on this subject, I have noticed your seemingly uncontrollable obsession with white males. In what appears to be the vast majority of your posts, you consistently write some of the most racist snarky digs and proclamations about white males. Now, you are free to comment and say whatever you want to. And I’m not suggesting that you should stop or continue doing so. But I have noticed this foaming at the mouth obsession and inability not to make caustic comments specifically directed at white males. I’m not a public defender for white males but your obsession is so blatant and non-stop…well…anyone who reads your posts cannot help but notice this white male fetish you have. Just sayin’….

  15. "You probably already know, White men see marriage as more of a business deal than a loving relationship which allows them to marry and even have children with women they don't even find attactive let alone love".

Oh really? And you know this how? You have verifiable documentation and research that supports your statement? If so, I would like to see it because I was not aware the behavior you stated was restricted to and characteristic of only white males. Sounds like a very serious accusation....
