Many people may have heard the name but that doesn’t mean they know who he is. What was the name of his company? Ask 20 people and see how many know.

You go ask twenty people.  Everybody I know, knows who Warren Buffett

is and what he owns so I don't need to ask them.

You can google what companies he owns shares in for yourself, I'm not

wasting my finger energy on this.

You missed my whole point anyway.  It's not even about Warren Buffett,

it's about you seeming to think that everybody else is less intelligent than

you.  Just because people listen to a particular genre of music doesn't

    mean that they are dumb.

The same reason people listen to Dennis Kimbro it for translation purpose.  Speaking to people where they are at. How many people who recognize 50 cent recognize Buffet?

Everybody knows who Warren Buffett is.  Please don't

insult people's intelligence, they are not that dumb.

(NOTE:  By everybody, I mean the majority of adults,

not every single human being on Planet Earth.)

  3. This is what I think about it.  Black people (and everyone) need to stop worrying

about what is Harris/Biden going to do for me, or what is Donald J. Trump going

to do for me.  Obviously, if you make more money you are going to pay more

taxes, that has always been the case.  The bottom line is that we are on our own

and if you want something done for you, you had better get busy and do it for

your damn self because none of them gives a care about any of us.

  4. The editors that select their covers know exactly what they are doing.  Remember years ago when the Vogue cover featured a lightened Jennifer Hudson?  They deliberately chose an image that depicted this lady as some sort of clownish jigaboo, for whatever reason.  Perhaps Meryl Streep asked them to do that to put her in her "place."

  5. I believe that Black men cheat because they want to dominate/conquer something seemingly new.  Women cheat because there's so many gorgeous virile Black men and no one else on Earth compares.  IMO.  As for myself my motto has always been that I have too much love for just one man, but don't tell it to my husband.  For reals y'all.

Oh brother... So if I disagree with you, I'm a know-it-all.

Do you really believe that about me?

I can't believe you just let somebody insult you like that on your own damn forum LOLs.  BTW Back in the day I used to chase straight shots of vodka with Old English 800!  If I tried that now I'd probably lapse into a coma.  Miss y'all!!!

  7. Hey Troy!!!  And Cynique!!!  I never stated that I hated Hillary.  I was simply explaining to you disillusioned DummyCrats some of the reasons why Hillary lost and that IMO she should never have run for POTUS the second time around after she got beat by Obama the first time.  What a friggin waste of a BILLION dollars!!!  You are doing lots of reading between the lines to conclude that I approve of The Donald since I did not say one positive thing about him.

BTW - I saw y'alls picture together a few months ago - the two of you are so adorbs  :)

  8. The bottom line is that Hillary lost because she sucks as a human being, a woman, and a politician.  She never had a substantive message except what she stole from Sanders/Warren and rehashed from Obama.  She told one whopper of a stupid lie after another as if ppl were too dumb to know that she was lying, Wikileaks exposed her and her cronies' plotting, scheming and corruptness, she belittled ALL voters when she called the electorate "deplorables" (ain't that the pot calling the kettle) and all the other missteps that were the mark of an amateur - not the seasoned politician her befuddled, deluded mind thought she was.  That entire email server fiasco might have been fine if she used it for her personal business (raising money for her presidential campaign while SOS) and used the State Dept server for official govt business like all other govt employees are required to do.  One of her excuses for the illegal email setup was that the State Dept's email system was antiquated.  If that was really the case, wouldn't that have been her responsibility to correct as the HMFIC?  She was unable think on her feet since she required debate/interview questions in advance and placed plants in the crowd during audience question events, and she needed to debate prep for several days to practice her lame zingers.  The woman can't even run her own husband but she's going to preside over the rest of us?  WTF?  And then there was Bengazi, Whitewater, Goldwater and on and on.  Have y'all seen all of the negative books that have been written about her?  I guess she thought that by employing Lebron, Beyonce and J-Lo we Black ppl were all going to fall in line.  I think that after she got beatdown by Obama in 2008 she should have sat her flat behind down then instead of wasting everybody's time.  I'm so relieved that I won't have to see her howdy-doody looking face anymore.  I'd rather deal with a crazy unpredictable President Trump any day.

  9. CBS 60 Minutes broadcast a segment about the Echelon Network back in 2000. They told about how the NSA monitors ALL electronic communications. Worldwide. It is my understanding that Echelon has been in use since the 1960s and possibly even earlier than that.

But now it's OMG! the U.S. Government is listening in on my telephone conversations with my grandmother and reading my texts and e-mails. And as usual, it's all OBAMA's fault. He's stealing our freedoms and stomping on the Constitution.  Again.

Clownie bozos like Ron Paul, Hannity and all the rest know good and well that this eavesdropping business has been going on since the beginning of time.

Wake up people. Echelon Network. 60 Minutes. Google it.

And have a NICE DAY  :)

  10. I have noticed here lately that wikipedia comes up quite a bit when I'm conducting searches on a variety of topics.  I never really gave it much thought, I just figured that they were an authority site because of all their content.  Sometimes I click on wikipedia (in the search results) for the info that I need and sometimes I don't.  I find the whole thing rather spammy.  As for Google, they are out of control.  Eventually the govt is going to come down on them and shut down their whole monopoly.

  11. Western civilization fell into the crapper a long time ago, but it's funny that so many ppl are ragging on Honey Boo Boo lately. I don't watch that particular program but I've seen enough of her elsewhere to know that the only reason people are critical of her and her mother is because she's a little chubby one and not so attractive without her pageant gear. Why has everyone seemingly forgotten about Kim K's video with her ass in the air for Ray J, her fake wedding, and recently her mother, Kris K, professed that her bunch is better than Honey Boo Boo's and everyone thinks Kim K is so fabulous? And Paris Hilton also. And where was the outrage when trailer-trash Sarah Palin (and the rest of her low-class backwoods clan) was foisted upon us "civilized" ppl? Where is the outrage over all the Housewives, Basketball Wives, Mob Wives nonsense and all the celebrities having babies out of wedlock and all of the other television and internet garbage that will lead us to our doom? Does their behavior get a pass because they are supposedly more attractive than the Honey Boo Boo family? Anyway, please leave Honey Boo Boo alone. She's only a child.

  12. You are right, Troy. Rich white ppl continue to control corporate America. But they don't head the federal government, which has the power to tax and imprison them. The Koch brothers et al couldn't buy the presidency this time around, after expending so many millions helping to establish the tea party, donating to colleges to indoctrinate students to their way of thinking, trying to suppress the vote, influencing the news (Rupert Murdoch-Fox News, WSJ), etc. It irks the hell out of them that they didn't get their way, and "them" is a very long list.

For me, Obama's re-election is, among other things, a morale booster. After all the maligning he endured about being born in Kenya (as if his white mama really traveled to Africa to give birth), his religion, his intellect, etc., these persistent insults against Obama have taken a toll on all of us. Some of us may not think that it's had a negative impact on us as individuals, but it has. And I am so relieved that the truth has prevailed.

I predict that there won't be another white (man) president for many years to come. I could be wrong, but I believe that position will be held by minorities/women for the next few cycles, and corporate America will be helpless to change that.

WriterGirl - I also saw parts of "The Men Who Built America" and couldn't help but notice that the way corporate moguls operated 125 years ago (by bribing ppl to get their man McKinley into the White House) is the same exact thing that's going on in the present. It's crazy. As to the secession petitions, I'm in Texas and Rick Perry's been talking that nonsense for a few years now, so we are used to hearing it. It's not happening. Those ppl need to get a grip.

  13. It's amazing to witness the U.S. white man come to the realization that he's not going to be in power anymore. But you would think that some of these high-profile whiteys would try to act like professional adults since they've known for some time that this day would soon be here. I suppose we should be compassionate towards them because we know what it's like to be powerless, second-class citizens :(

  14. Yes Cynique, I was republican for a while a few years ago. But I've since changed my mind and have voted for Obama three times - in one primary and two presidential elections. Unfortunately Texas electorals went to the republicans but hopefully that will change next time.

Troy with a case of heebie-jeebies? Too funny!!!

  15. Cynical Cynique -

How I've missed your reflections on life in general. I find it so hilarious that you've called Obama purple-lipped since he first came on the scene. If you would only upgrade your ancient assed black and white TV you'd know that his lips are quite normal

  16. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord and Thank God!!!

Besides the fact that I adore Obama, I couldn't bear the thought of listening to Mitt the Twit's nonsensical gibberish for 4 to 8 years. Hopefully he and his snooty phony wife and the rest of his clones will disappear into oblivion (fingers crossed) unlike John McCain who keeps lingering around with his stink nasty rotten sour grapes! Just go away ppl.

As to what the future holds - who knows? I do feel that ppl need to get up off of their own asses and make something happen for themselves and stop waiting around for politicians to make decisions for them. The ppl drive the economy, not the president. There's plenty of money out here as evidenced by the latest astronomical iphone sales (or whatever is was that Apple sold 3M of the other day). You just have to figure out how to get an income stream flowing your way and work to make it happen.

Anyway, I hope that Mr. Troy, Cynique and everyone here is doing well. I've been doing okay, just keeping very busy. Life is good. Thank you Jesus for all the blessings.

    Love you all!!!
