In My Opinion, these women are already beautiful.

But when the genius completes his magic, it's like POW!

Beautiful....absolutely beautiful.

I'm not talking about the sistaz in the video.
Most of them look nice, especially after their make-overs.
But I'm talking about how beautiful it is to do such a wonderful thing FOR them because I'm sure it helped with their self esteem and self worth and made them much happier.

We know most women are so self-conscious about their looks.
I don't know if they can put a price tag on how he's made some of them feel.

Self-esteem should be built up in individuals way before a makeover or any other shallow effort to make them more attractive.

 

A makeover should accentuate the positive features of an individual.  Their self-esteem should already be on point.  That starts at childhood.

Women tend to be different than men in that they naturally DON'T have high self esteem.

Most men have moderate to high self esteem due to our higher testosterone rate that gives us more confidence and courage.
Most women...again MOST...don't have that by nature and constantly need encouragement and enforcement to make them feel better and more confident.

Actually, the low confidence and shyness is what I find ATTRACTIVE about most women.
When a woman walks around proud and cocky....that's usually a turn off.

Being able to see, hear and feel the female underneath that BS is rewarding.

I just think it's unfortunate when both women and men require some form of validation to boost their self-esteem.

No doubt this ADDS to it, however the question you should ask yourself is how did we GET to a "patriarchal and male dominated society" to begin with?

Infact, why do you find nearly all of the societies around the planet dominated by men?

Because men tend to be more aggressive and confident and TAKE control and TAKE charge....that's MY explanation.

 That said how do you explain the increasing rates of male suicide and particular black male suicide and recent years.

There are many reasons for the rising suicide rates, from drug abuse to improperly treated mental illnesses.

 

In some regards, suicide is something often done BY people with high self esteem.
Killing oneself in order to get out of certain situations is a form of CONTROL.
A person with LOW self esteem who feels that they don't deserve certain things in life or is destined to be a "loser" doesn't mind failing and usually doesn't see the need to "end" their life.

It's that person who wants to control EVERYTHING and when something doesn't go right in their life that they CAN'T control, often they want to end it.
The ability to take one's life is sometimes PART of that control.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 How do you explain women, surpassing men and college admission and graduation rates?

 

For one thing....
The modern academic system in the West (or in the United States atleast) is very FEMALE oriented and rewards FEMININE behavior and characteristics like being humble, docile, and quiet.

Many boys...especially Black boys...have a hard time in school with their CONDUCT even if they excel in purely academic endeavors like math and science.

 

I had a cousin who was getting kicked out of schools since the 3rd grade and never graduated, but was able to start and maintain a major drug operation employing dozens of men and women.
He could do the most complicated math and had an excellent memory, especially when it came to running his operation and making money, lol.  But couldn't make it through school because of disciplinary issues.
Meanwhile his older sister...who had to often come to HIM for advice for family and relationship issues, was able to get a PhD as a social worker.

Dude, the changes in female relative success over men is new. For the previous 300 years, men dominated schools and the behavior in the classroom was even more rigid.
 

It is hard to have a successful career in school when you’re building  a major drug operation.

We know of many cultures that are matriarchal. We are also aware of cultures with female warriors, including our own.

We can SPECULATE about the past and "long ago" empires and societies all we want, but what we SEE TODAY as well as in most of the recent and written/documented history are empires and societies ran and dominated by MEN.

Some societies afforded women more rights and gave them more power than others, but how many societies that we know of for sure where women actually RULED?

Also, don't confused MATRIARCHAL with MATRILINEAL.
There are societies where royalty and bloodlines are simply traced THOUGH the woman, but that doesn't mean women ruled things.

Maggie Thatcher ran the British Empire @Pioneer1 and there have been other women leaders of countries full of men. There are several female CEOs including Ursula Burns, a sister who ran Xerox.   Women do and have always contributed more than just birthing babies. @ProfD.

 

The problem is, as it is with Black people in general, is that the narrative is not crafted by women today.  Just because the narrative tells a distorted story does not make it true. 

 

White boys would have you believe that aliens built the pyramids, and that God wants us to be good slaves for our masters.

True. Women do more for us than giving birth.  They work alongside men in different ways too.

There's a difference between a woman being SELECTED to be the CEO of a company vs one actually BUILDING the company from the ground up.
Just like there's a difference between a nation or society that was actually BUILT by women from the ground up....versus..one built and operated by men who SELECT a woman to be head of state, like Margaret Thatcher or Hillary Clinton.

Most heads-of-states now a days.....like most CEOs....are figure heads.
They don't have a lot of REAL power.
Most of their power is CEREMONIAL and they are picked for multiple reasons.

Was England BUILT by women?
Was Israel BUILT by women?

Just because a husband ALLOWS his wife to run a household, doesn't mean she BUILT the house or controls the family.
He DELEGATES certain power to her while he focuses on other matters like making money and dealing with issues OUTSIDE of the home.
 
Proving that you're a "capable leader" is far different than building a kingdom or empire from the ground up.

I'm not suggesting that women lack the INTELLIGENCE to build an empire, but that most of them lack the type of VISION, DRIVE, AGGRESSION, and MOTIVATION that it takes to organize and unite angry and hungry people together to build a kingdom or empire from the ground up and protect it.

Women can delegate the hard labor (brawn) to men just like males in charge do. When it comes to architecture and engineering, (brains) they can draw up the plans just like men do. They have expertise in these fields.

Building isn't about just nuts and bolts. And nowadays, even common labor can be computerized or be a matter of operating machinery. In the future, these will be tasks that can be performed by anybody, including robots.

Are you serious?  Women work in factories where these machines are made! And they've been doing so ever since World War 2 when they  took over all the factory jobs while men went off to war to kill each other and bomb out of existence what "they built"! Referring to built in the literal and figurative sense. Add food, clothing, heat, transportation and protection to the equation. Setting up a government. Establishing rules and laws.
