ProfD Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 The all-female crew was Gayle King, Katy Perry, Lauren Sánchez, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen and Kerianne Flynn. Well, the expensive 10-minute amusement park ride went off with a hitch. The funniest part of it was billionaire Jeff Bezos' face-plant as he tripped and fell while going to greet his boo thang...Sanchez. The deposit for a Blue Origin reservation is $150k (fully refundable). The total fee is unknown. However, a seat was once auctioned for $28 million. Needless to type, very few folks will be taking that flight anytime soon. 1

F' the hair, I'm curious to see what the real GAYLE KING looks like under them clothes and that make up....lol. That woman's about 70 years old and doesn't look OR sound like it. I know she's got a lot of money to keep herself up but money can only take you so far....she's clearly got good genetics too.

Wouldn't be a good look for her to be sagging and jiggling like jello underneath those expensive clothes.
Pioneer1 Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 19 hours ago, ProfD said: Wouldn't be a good look for her to be sagging and jiggling like jello underneath those expensive clothes. Never did care too much for Eartha Kitt....even when she was younger. Something about her...that voice alone...was a turn off. But Gayle King is so pretty in the face that I'd tolerate more imperfections in her body. A woman's body jiggling like jello isn't necessarily a bad thing in MY opinion unless she's pruned up like somebody's fingers after washing dishes. But I've always liked older women. Even when I was in my 20s....and actually before then because when I was a teenager I used to TRY to talk to women in their 30s and 40s...lol. When it comes to older women I tend to grade women on a CURVE...lol. In other words...... I'll accept more physical faults from a women in her 60s than I would from one in her 30s. Sagging titties...as long as they don't look like deflated weather balloons....isn't necessarily bad on a 60 or 70 year old because I understand the laws of gravity. Just as long as they're round at the bottom. The older the woman and the more children I know she's had...the more stretchmarks I'll accept on her. The older and more children she's had...the looser the coochie I'll put up with...as long as it's not prolapsed, lol. For real, I'm not lying. I used logic and understanding when it comes to the women I'm attracted to. I was having this discussion today with some African women. They saw me flirting with an Indian women who was in her 70s and although I'm in my 50s there's still a 20 years difference. Anybody could she she's clearly far older than me and they saw here as near "elderly" and was asking me why would I flirt with and play around with someone old enough to be my mother. I was flirting HARD with her...and she was enjoying it as usual, lol. I explained to them I don't go by age so much as looks and over all attractiveness...as most men do.... and we had BIG ass discussion about it....lol. Then the discussion turned to weight...and we REALLY had some fun discussing African standards vs American standards. ...you know I had to take a dig at White men during that discussion (wink~wink)

Pioneer1 Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Troy While you're right..... Gayle is just naturally pretty and attractive..in MY opinion. Gayle King 2025 I like thick as well as slim women and her body is nice and slim but still curvy as it was 30 years ago when she was kicking it on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Gayle King 1990s That's why I had to fall out with Snoop Dogg for calling her a "dog faced" something-or-other....lol. Speaking of her face.... Some people focus on how pretty she is but her body is straight up BANGIN' too! I bet Fi'ty Cent is really MISSING all of that....lol.

aka Contrarian Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 @ProfDI was wonderlring if I was the only one who was distracted by those awful horsehair auburn wigs that Gayle plops on her head. LOL Her bff Oprah was present at the outer space lift-off to lend Gayle her moral support, even shedding a few tears over the implication of this auspicious occasion. One thing you can say about Oprah is that, like Chaka Khan, she's got a great head full of naturally long abundant hair And doesn't need a wig. And she's lookin great to be 70.. After taking that weight-lost pill, she's down to her fighting weght. Katt Williams cracked that Oprah swallowed so many of them that Gayle lost 20 lbs! Something she needed to do becauses she had really become a healthy specimen of the bovine breed. If you're looking for eye candy you should watch "Beyond the Gates," the new afternoon black soap opera on CBS. It's really a show case for the beautiful people - all dressed to the nines. I've never seen so many fine black men in one place in all my life! And, oh yeah the sistas are also gorgeous. 2
Troy Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 I'll check out one episode of Beyond the Gates for the eye candy ('cause soaps's ain't my thing). Right now, I'm watching Black Mirror which I really enjoy After watching the trailer the soap seems like a parody, more fun drama and serious drama. Am I miss reading it @aka Contrarian?
aka Contrarian Posted April 17 Report Posted April 17 @TroyLOL It is typical soap opera fare from what I can gather.I have no idea what the plot is actually about. Oprah has kept herself up and down relatively well too. She's been through more than enough weight loss programs and gym memberships. I doubt that Stedman or Gayle cares aslonfg as their books stay stacked. 4 hours ago, aka Contrarian said: After taking that weight-lost pill, she's down to her fighting weght. Pioneer1 Posted April 17 Report Posted April 17 Yes, Chaka Khan is another attractive sista who's been attractive all her life. Yet....another one was Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura from Star Trek), RIP. There's a lot of sistaz who look good at advanced ages but I'm thinking of the ones who NATURALLY look good without a lot of make-up or plastic surgery or manipulation of the pictures and videos.

Whether it is genetics or physical fitness or a combination...Black don't crack. It's hard to convince some older Black folks to embrace their naturally good looks. From refusing to give up thinning or straggling stands of hair in favor of a neat low cut or a bald head, some Black folks are too self-conscious to embrace a new, better look. The coolest part is when a person does embrace a new look and wishing they had done it sooner. Positive encouragement goes a long way in older Black folks still remaining fly and fabulous. IMO, no other race of people can pull it off so well.
Pioneer1 Posted April 18 Report Posted April 18 ProfD Whether it is genetics or physical fitness or a combination...Black don't crack. Unless she's ON Crack, lol. From refusing to give up thinning or straggling stands of hair in favor of a neat low cut or a bald head, some Black folks are too self-conscious to embrace a new, better look. And most Black folks' hair is too nappy to do the "comb over" that a lot of White men USED to do before WE made the bald look cool. We're close in age so you know what I'm talking about, lol. You don't see it as much today as you did back in the 80s and 90s and definitely in the 70s. 1

Nowadays, more Black men are willing to let hair go rather rock a half-fro or a receding hairline that makes their forehead look ripe for beach front properties: The late Sherman Hemsley had a half-fro. Mr. Pudding Pop has beach erosion happening around his hairline. I see condos in his future. A good barber can solve that sh8t in a matter of minutes.
aka Contrarian Posted April 18 Report Posted April 18 I see where Gayle King and her fellow passengers on the space capsule are being greeted with jeers instead of cheers by social media haters, one of whom described the lip stick crew as nothing more than a “rich lady brunch in flight” Gail has been pushing back at such dismissals, seemingly very indignant that people aren't impressed with how much courage it took to make the trip. There are also rumors that CBS is looking into the deal Gail cut with the company that's in the business of making these flights available to the public. Seems like she got a hefty fee to lend her name to what amounted to nothing more than a publicity stunt although Gayle insists she is now entitled to be referred to as an "astronaut", - and her job might be in jeopardy because her deal could be considered "bribery". Elsewhere, The View crew has been on a week hiatus and replaced by reruns, leaving industry insiders to wonder whether their daily slamming of Trump and his minions and the libel suit this has generated might cause heads to roll. 🫨 Stay tuned. I'm not sure who told these young girls that those thick ass centipede looking jokerz looked good ANY damn way? Now I have to admit.... A good wig or a good weave on a woman DOES improve her appearance; not all of the time.....but much of the time. But them fake as lashes do absolutely NOTHING in terms of improving a woman's looks as far as I'm concerned and most other dudes I've talked to about it feel the same. As far as preferring a natural woman........ I prefer her natural UNLESS...she's naturally ugly, lol. Then she should start adding on shit to improve her appearance. Not all people are blessed in the looks department, and that's a fact. And I'm not talking down on people just because. I'm speaking as somebody who has been called ugly since I remember my ears working....lol. Not only by associates and friends but even by family members....lol. But, leave it up to Black folks to take that sh8t over top. Perhaps, but they don't do anything on a woman for me...UNLESS...maybe...she got into some sort of accident and lost her natural lashes and NEEDED fake ones to compensate. Other than that, eyelashes don't make or break a sista for me. Eyelashes start out as filler and she ends up looking like Thriller. I've heard those very thick and ridiculous looking ones described as "cum catchers". Our society focuses on beautiful people and pushes a bunch of sh8t to get others to buy into it. I think MOST societies place value on beautiful people. It's a human trait. We like looking at beautiful things, beautiful people, beautiful animals. It's called "eye candy" for a reason....lol. The deception comes when you promote certain products promising that if you use THAT product, it will make YOU beautiful also. Or you'll end up looking like the person on the picture. But as I've gotten older and observed more, the fact TRUTH (frankster...lol) I realized is that there's a difference between beauty and attractiveness. Those girls may not have been beautiful, but they were certainly sexually attractive. This relates to what we were discussing in another thread concerning "value" and how value is determined. A man may choose a "beautiful" woman to wear on his arm in public because he values her beauty and how it increases his social status; but choose an "ugly" woman as his favorite fuck-buddy because regardless of how she looks she's good in bed and he values her sexual skills. He values BOTH women...but for different reasons. Cynique stfu, Loser. If I did....you wouldn't like it. If I stopped posting, your squint-eyed ass would leave the site...lol.

Pioneer1 Posted April 24 Report Posted April 24 Troy, I'm quite serious when I wonder why I have been singled out by the gods to be the target of a human gnat. @piognat: People: Now yall see? See how she gets if you get a few "over" on her and she doesn't have much of a come back???? See how she starts crying about being "singled out" and "targeted". Go on Cynique.... Go watch your Black Boule televison show....what is it again??? "Niggaz Beyond Their Means"????.....or something??? Go on 'head and finish day dreaming (or nightmaring) about your alternative life, where post offices don't exist....lol. I won't "pick on" you anymore....tonight....lol. Troy That's why I said it's fun and games on "my end" Cynique ain't playing most of the time. Being onery and combative is part of her personality and she can't help herself...lol. I know of that one person you were talking about. I think she was dealing with some issues but I do remember telling Cynique to stop poking at her and she just wouldn't do it. Day and night trading insults back and forth and following eachother around from thread to thread with the business. I remember...lol And when that girl reached her tipping point...booooooy she really went crazy and got in that ass....lol. If you HADN'T banned her she'd STILL be whooping on Cynique's ass.

Like I said I hope they are doing OK (when I write "they" I always think are people interpreting the person I'm refereeing to a they or a "they"). Maybe I should not have banned them, maybe a time out would have worked but that person was beyond angry...

But if my memory serves me correctly, you banned her because she used the term "nigger bitch" which didn't sit right with you (or me either because of the hard "er"). I'm one of those people who believe that "nigger" and "nigga" are actually 2 different words because WE made that distinction. We didn't wait on White folks to sanction it. That being said..... When you call somebody a "nigger" with a hard "er" that smells of redneck racism and it's hard to believe another FBA Black person would see that as an acceptable insult.
ProfD Posted April 25 Author Report Posted April 25 That *space flight* was all of 10 minutes. Like an amusement park ride. I don't think we should give them credit for going anywhere.

I was under the impression that they actually WENT somewhere like to the moon or an astroid or something.....lol.

Allegedly, the flight went just beyond the Karman line which scientists have defined as the boundary between the earth's atmosphere and outer space. They went up and came right back down.
Pioneer1 Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 Ah shit...... Ain't that 'bout a b-i...... Here I was thinking they actually went UP into space and LANDED on something....lol Like I said, I didn't follow it too closely. It's one of those stories that I followed by just watching the images and pictures with the sound on the television off while I actually focus on more important matters...lol. I kept seeing Gayle and some other woman marching down some steps with a sandy dusty environment in the background and I thought it may have been another planet or an asteroid or something. But they didn't have a helmet on or any other type of breathing apparatus...I thought that was strange. But I wasn't TOO concerned about it because I really didn't care....lol.
