No homo, however......
If you are a man (or men) without much of a "package".......
PLEASE don't sit like that, lol.

For real though.
If middle aged women have a bigger "bulge" in their crotch than you, come on...lol.

If you KNOW you're going to be sitting in that position and you KNOW what you're working with....stuff some socks in it or something for the aesthetics, lol.
Na'mean???

Is that really your take-away from the presentation.

I did not listen to the entire thing, but it seems to me you have two men who seem truly committed to serving the people.  Religion clearly was a big part of their lives and motivation.

Pretty much......
Because as far as I'm concerned they're just jaw-jacking.

They may as well just "put a sock in it" (pun intended) because all of these local townhall meetings and discussions with "the people" are pretty much useless at this point.

What POWER do any of these men have to counter what Trump is doing or what he's planning to do?

The man is in office and he's pushing his agenda.
Plain and simple.
Anything short of talk of impeachment to usher him out is pretty much a waste of breath.
The focus might as well be on who's going to replace him in 2028.

Sen Booker has been on those steps since 6 AM (On his Birthday) to plead to citizens to stand up for their rights...combat apathy and get people to go to the damn polls instead of sitting there saying, "these legislators can't do nothing."

If you listened, you would have heard Senator Booker say, "We are only two broken men out here on faith, but we need you to stand up because nothing has ever started here in Washington - change begins with YOU, the people." [Paraphrasing.]

Talk about synchronicity....
Funny how I just got through talking to Cynique about the Boule, these congressional dudes start set tripping about the Divine 9 and throwing up frat signs and even the female pastor who was sitting between them threw up some sort of sorority sign.
It tells me where THEIR minds are, lol.

Mel

They're wasting BOTH time and energy sitting on those steps dressed like Run DMC.

...not to mention how they're making light skinned bruthaz look sitting like that.
I can't keep watching that shit FrFr

They are speaking to the people before Congress is back in session. So, how are they wasting their time using the available resources?

The Divine Nine organizations and The Boule (Sigma Pi Phi) are service organizations. Their members use their resources to amplify the voices of those without access to power.

So, since you're not a member, do you think something satanic is going on? Jeez! Please stop. They are just people who want to make a difference in the lives of others.

So, help me understand your position. What would you like these legislators to do? Or do you have animosity towards them because they have some semblance of power in this country? Or because they can change lives with their access?

And what does their complexion have to do with anything?  That's a bit offensive because colorism is divisive.

And finally, where are you holding @Pioneer1 hostage? Where do we drop the ransom to get him back?

I don't ascribe to a belief in Satan or demonology, so no...lol.

On a spiritual level I think educated Black people should be careful pledging and taking oaths in the name of and to Greek Deities of whom they know little about.

As far as the Boule being a service organization.
Hey....it is what it is.

What would you like these legislators to do?

Focus on local and statewide mid-term elections and especially on the Presidential Election (if there IS one) of 2028.

And specifically...although I don't think they're going to do it...reconsider being members of the Democrat OR Republican parties period.

It's really high time for AfroAmericans...and non-Blacks who share our values and are willing to follow our lead....to form OUR OWN political party.

The recent election of Trump as well how the Democratic Party abandoned Mayor Adams and a lot of other Black politicians over the years has made this point crystal clear.

They really need to be spending their time and energy going from region to region and organizing a new party.

Or do you have animosity towards them because they have some semblance of power in this country? Or because they can change lives with their access?

No, however if you DO sense a little bit of frustration...it's because there could have been another brutha up there with them on the steps.
Hill Harper.

Hill Harper was running for U.S. Senator out of Michigan and the Democrat Party including the Black Caucasus pretty much IGNORED him and his campaign.
He was already a Hollywood star and could have been the next rising star...or possibly another Obama...if they had backed him up but they didn't.

Shit like that solidifies my position that NEITHER party is serious about delegating real power to AfroAmericans.

And what does their complexion have to do with anything?  That's a bit offensive because colorism is divisive.

Don't worry about it.
You brownskinned woman.....you wouldn't understand
It's a light skinned masculinity thang....lol.
You can't be talking all day long with your legs cocked open with a small ass package and call yourself representing ME.

And finally, where are you holding @Pioneer1 hostage? Where do we drop the ransom to get him back?

After these dudes gave light skinned bruthaz a bad name, Pioneer1 had to grab a pair of tight pants and find the nearest mall to chill in with his legs open to get our respect back!

But don't worry....what I was packin' MORE than made up for what we saw in D.C. this morning. 😉

I’m actually glad pioneer brought up colorism. It is offensive, but it is an issue. I have to admit it occurred to me when I was looking at the video, but of course I’m a product of America, but I know that settlement I need to reject again. I’m glad Pioneer mentioned it because it is real impacts how people perceive that video.

Think about how that brother sang that song against Drake saying you ain’t like us.

Colorism is still an issue among our people and it's making a resurgence because of our prolonged contact with Latinos and even Asians where colorism is still very strong among them and often influences the "type" of Black people they want to interact with.

I remember in the 80s and 90s....colorism was almost extinguished like a fire.
The only place you found it was in schools among little kids.
But as I said, contact with a lot of Latinos brought out the hidden desires of some of our people and exposed how much many of them love light skin.

Just like a person who loves White people but doesn't want to admit it will often get with the lightest skinned Black person they can find, contact with Latinos gave some of our people just the excuse they wanted to get closer to White folks without actually getting close to "White folks"

Well, I didn't see the point in Senator Cory Booker's 25 hour filibuster a month or so ago.

However, this sit-in on the steps of the Capitol was a great idea in providing citizens with access to elected officials and making their voices heard.

Kudos to Senator Cory Booker and Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries for providing a townhall styled platform for other elected officials and speakers to address legislation and issue(s) facing millions of Americans.

Otherwise, the white men who control the highest levels of power and greed do not appear to have any use for religion or morality in their decision-making whether it's killing millions of people and/or keeping them impoverished. 😎

Which is why I kept saying that BOTH of them were wasting their time with that "live from the capital steps" event.
Just like Booker was wasting his time and energy with that 25 hour filabuster.

These racists bastids don't give a fuck about integrity or morality or you "speaking the truth" on some damn steps in white tennis shoes and a chain around your neck like rapper rejects from the late '80s.

These people only respect POWER, and POWER comes from organized people.

What Booker and Jefferies NEED to do ("what niggaz NEED to do is"...lol...shout out to Tariq Nasheed)  is get OUT of D.C. and do a tour around the nation organizing the PEOPLE...especially Black and Brown people to rearrange Congress for the midterms, rearrange the governors, and groom a viable candidate for 2028!

One of the wisest things President Obama said was:

State of the Union Address: Obama will 'keep fighting' for free community college | Times Higher Education (THE)

"Don't get angry.....get organized!"

Already, Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are running around the country doing townhall events.

Booker and Jeffries along with a few of their colleagues could also join forces to do the same.

Before they can organize a movement, the first thing Democrats need is a strong message.

The Dems cannot merely whine and complain about what POTUS OJ and GOP are doing.

The people need to know what they plan to do to make their lives better.

The Dems need solid candidates up and down the ballots to deliver on it.

The message cannot be a Hope and Change slogan this time around.  That one has already been played out.🤣😎

Well you already know how I feel about the Democrat Party.
We need a NEW Party specifically for the needs of AfroAmericans but not much of a chance of THAT happening in the next few years SO........

Democrats need to figure out where their HEART is and focus on just a hand full of KEY ISSUES that the majority of the people can rally around instead of pushing this "big tent" narrative they've been doing for the past 40 years or so.
You can't be the party of EVERY-fucking-BODY.

Some of these weird ass people are going to have to be kicked to the curb.

Issues like:

AfroAmerican rights and Reparations.
Women's rights.
Worker's rights
Universal Healthcare
Robust social benefits
Improving the Economy

Those 6 items right there could be and should be the main focus of the Democrat party and if they MADE those their main focus....I'd say about 60-65% of the American people would immediately get on board with that because each of them address SOMETHING most Americans are concerned with.

But they're going to have to drop all this "trans" shit and this unwavering support for Zelensky and Ukraine.
Those are NOT issues most people are discussing at the kitchen table or in the living room.

AfroAmericans are too divided to come up with a new party and everything it entails.  That is the main reason reparations is a non-starter issue.

1 hour ago, Pioneer1 said:

Universal Healthcare

Streamline the list down to three (3) issues that everyone can benefit regardless.

Once any particular group is isolated, that will cause folks to tune out because it is not their issue.

For example, anything that has to do with AfroAmericans and especially when it comes to reparations will distance white folks and some n8gglets too.

White folks don't see why they should be responsible for repaying the sins of their fathers. Nevermind the wealth that was built on slavery.

Ignorant, self-hating azz n8gglets don't believe AfroAmericans deserve any form of repayment because slavery was a long time ago

One of the platforms the current administration ran on was putting a stop to illegal immigration.

A whole bunch of white folks on both sides of the aisle (red and blue)  could get with that program.

That's why there is real outrage or backlash against the way folks are being deported.  Don't be fooled by white folks talking about it.

Definitely not the racists but nor are the bleeding heart liberals doing a d8mn thing about insuring due process under the law.

A MD senator showed up in El Salvador to have coffee and donuts with an improperly deported dude.  Photo-op moment.  Political football.

According to the media, border crossings have decreased by over 90% since January 2025 when POTUS OJ was elected and DHS, ICE, DOJ and the border czar started getting busy.

A focus on making those pockets fatter is a message a majority of people will support. Universal healthcare and increased social benefits will be icing on the cake.

A diehard redneck will turn blue if he's promised a brand new Ford F-150 pick-up truck and updated double-wide trailer for him and the cousin he married and bore his children. 🤣

Whether it is a new political party or a renewed Democratic party, it will need a charismatic leader who can sell the program and bridge the divide in this country.😎

Not if a Black man is able to get the same thing and move NEXT to him....lol.
He'll dust off that MAGA hat quicker than a duck can shake his ass.

At some point the nation will have to be re-divided because these rednecks aren't going to want to see an America where Black people are treated fairly and properly even if THEY stand to benefit too.

That's the REAL reason the United States hasn't progressed nearly as far as they should have.
Racist Caucasians (and other groups) don't want to advance America if it means AfroAmericans will advance with it.

They're like a jealous and hateful Ex.
It's not enough for you two to go your own separate ways so that THEY can find someone and enjoy a healthy relationship and YOU can too.
No.
That doesn't bring THEM peace.
Seeing YOU alone or in an unhappy relationship is the only thing that will satisfy them...lol.
They don't want to see you doing as good as them.

What kind of "supremacy" allows my subordinates to enjoy the same lifestyle I do???

Black folks don't want to live anywhere near rednecks.

There's enough land in this country to develop communities where everybody can have their piece and not have to live within proximity of folks they don't want to be around.

Right. Regardless of what they have or have not, the *white privilege* of being considered better than Black folks is most important to them.😎

Especially in the lower western Midwest and the Pacific Northwest.

We should be aiming for the same thing for ourselves in the South.
Especially in states like Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas.

There is no way Republicans should be controlling Georgia....with Atlanta in the midst of it.

I'm talking Governor, Senators, State Legislators, U.S. Reps, Mayors, Sheriffs, etc....

Black folks should control ALL of Georgia....and all of Mississippi and Alabama to be honest.
That should have BEEN ours...solidly for the past 40 years or so.

The Greeks learned from the Africans, not vice versa/ Kemet  Mysteries Schools come from us, as does the tradition of a tiered learning system.

These are facts I alluded to in the "Blue Origin Space Flight" thread when I said that WE started those organizations for them.

To keep it real....
I don't believe we start the current academic fraternities and sororities common on most PWU campuses...but the OLDEST secret societies in Western Civilization that go back to ancient Greece and beyond actually came from Africa.

We started them to civilize and educated a FEW of them so that those few could civilize the others to various degrees.

.....oh if people only knew the TRUE meaning behind "crossing the burning sands", lol.

Although it is unspoken, the Greek lettering became associated with learning and academia for this reason.

This is also the reason professions like law and medicine in Western Civilization is "practiced" in and preserve much of their knowledge in Greek and Latin regardless of the nation it's practiced in.

Latin came out of Greek and we know the Greeks got their letters/alphabets from the Canaanites (Phoenicians), an Egyptian colony.

Because of the Western attempt to erase all of what we have given civilization, the Divine Nine, keeping with tradition, just went along with the established system of using Greek lettering, is my guess.  It's kind of like how we use the Arabic numeral system.

Black "greek" academic  organizations started for 2 major reasons:

1. Like White Fraternities/Sororities.
They are elementary organizations designed to "test your metal" so to speak and find out how well you can respect authority, keep secrets, and go along with the "program".
If you show promise at the collegiate level, then you graduate to more professional organizations like the Sigma Pi Phi.

2. The poor and uneducated Black America population imitated the White Masons by forming the Prince Hall masons as way of establishing unity and brotherhood among themselves for social help, so in that regard they actually PRE-DATED the Divine Nine!
But the more well off educated Black professionals didn't want to join their poor and "ignorant" brethren so they formed their own professional organizations with higher standards for membership and later on formed Black fraternities and sororities in college....similar to the White ones as you said...to prepare the youth for those more professional ones.

I don't know why everyone agreed to use those numbers, but we know Africans were the first to develop maths. ->

Ofcourse.
And the ancients had FAR more advanced mathematics than what the West has today.
The West only has a FRACTION of what the ancients used to build the pyramids and other monuments and civilizations around the globe.

The Africans were the masters.

When Western doctors and lawyers say they merely PRACTICE medicine and law, they know what they're saying....because they know who the MASTERS are...lol.

Now, I have to ask the question and hopefully it won't raise the lack of intelligence flag.🤣

If our ancestors were so advanced in mathematics, medicine, science and philosophy, etc., it begs the questions of when, where and how did many of our people digress into living in compromised shelters on undeveloped land and being exploited by foreigners in Africa.

I refuse to believe white folks sprinkled some kind of fairy dust on our people to zap their intelligence as bestowed upon them by the Supreme Being.😎

The quick and honest answer from me is: I actually don't know.

I COULD end it right there....lol.
However I can speculate...............

I believe the planet goes through CYCLES of 25,000 years where global civilizations are constantly reborn and dying and reborn.
Different groups start off primitive and progress through time at different rates, some overtaking others.
At the end of 25,000 years a major cataclysm occurs and starts things over again.

It would be cool to *know* where we are in the present 25k year cycle.

🤔 Or have they?

They say nothing in this modern world is "invented"....only "revealed".
Meaning, all the technology they NOW possess...including airplanes, electricity, and the internet...has not only existed for THOUSANDS of years but also has been in constant USE by the elite rulers of this world.
What we THINK are inventions, discoveries, and progress in knowledge is just those elites allowing bits and pieces of knowledge and technology to inch out from time to time.

It's relatively easy for *they* and *them* to make claims without evidence or proof.

It's even easier to get a whole lot of people to believe the BS.

Religion has been doing a masterful job of it for centuries. Same goes for other conspiracy theories.

If a piece of technology has always existed, it would have already been discovered and more importantly, made public.

Space flight is still in a child-like state. We can launch satellites and get off the ground traveling to space station but it takes a great deal of effort. It definitely has not reached perfection.

It would be awesome to see the elites putting on their flying suits and leaving this planet to hang out on other planets or amomg the stars. 😎

If we believe the "official narrative".
However there are records of B/being flying that go back THOUSANDS of years.
Actual paintings of B/beings that fly.

And these records are found around the planet, not just in one or 2 countries.

If this were not true, how do you explain people around the planet with apparently little to no contact with eachother reporting the same things?

African civilizations, as great as they were, share one thing in common with all civilizations  --- they rise and they fall.

As "great" as America is -- it will crash and burn too.  The prospects of America lasting thousands of years as Arican Civilizations have is truly a testimony to how great they were,

Scholars, throughout history, have known western civilization came from the Greek, and the Greeks learned everything they know from Africans.

Greek Civilization is in ruins, and they no longer have influence, the same is true with Italy, Spain, Portugal -- all is western Europe, including the Bristish Empire, is a shell of itself.  No one wrings their hands over the fall of these civilizations.

The fall of African Civilizations has been explained in many books including:

Yes, the fairy dust, AKA gun powder. It wasn't just one country that colonized and mind-melded most African countries, and it didn't happen immediately. Ethiopia was the only country not colonized. The Italians tried but couldn't—and the Ethiopians drove them out. The Italians eventually returned the Obelisk of Axum in 2005. I'm not sure why that cracks me up, but it does because they stole it as a consolation prize, I guess. But that's just the short answer. Brother @ProfD Yours is such a great thesis question. There is an argument to be made that Ethiopia was INDEED colonized.
Not by Europeans...but by racist Middle Easterners centuries ago.

It is theorized that the original peoples of what is now known as Ethiopia were dark skinned Bantu people with kinky hair.
Over the centuries they were warred upon and colonized and even displaced by the lighter skinned Habesha and Sabean peoples who in many instances were (and still are) openly racist and anti-Black.
