The elegant cover of  An Extraordinary Life: Josephine E. Jones by Wendy Jones [ ISBN 978-1-9463-4802-9 (soft cover), Pub. date 2017]  has been appearing on these pages since August 12. Now I would like to request a book review so everyone can find out what is behind that beautiful cover. This compelling biography tells the story of a South Carolina sharecropper's daughter, born in 1920, who arrives in New York City in 1946 to work as a cook in private homes. By the 1960s she becomes the first black woman in management at a Fortune 500 company as well as a Harlem activist. An Extraordinary Life: Josephine E. Jones is an American story, a Great Migration story, a New York story, a black family's story, a mother-daughter story, and the story of woman's fight for creativity in the workplace. You can find my Author's Profile here at African American Literary Book Club

under Wendy Jones. There's also an excerpt  on my website at https://idabellpublishing.com/excerpts/. And since I can't get the cover to come over as a URL, please go to this link to look at the cover https://idabellpublishing.com/shop/  or look on the home page if you read this before September 23.
