Combining metaphysics, science, philosophy and a strong dose of Black Nationalism, The Church of the Cosmic Mother: Metaphysics For the African American Seeker is an introduction to metaphysics as the alternative spiritual path to Black Liberation. It is a potent antidote to the dogma implied in monotheistic traditions that black is evil. Rather, it introduces the concept of the Divine Feminine as the lost connection between our blackness and our holiness.

Precursor to Black Liberation Theology, this introduction to a form of spirituality specific to Black Americans and all Africans of the Diaspora, lays out a three-fold approach to Black self-determination, with an extensive section on methods for practice using metaphysical principles to guide us there. The goal is to prove for ourselves that when we dare to reclaim our connection to the Cosmic Mother, we take our rightful places as co-creators with Her not when we die, but right here on Earth.
