Pioneer1
Hey Troy, there seems to be a bit of confusion about what constitutes what is known as the Americas. I said that Haiti, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Jamaica are nations that are part of America. Cynique said NO they aren't and Mel (to my surprise actually) supported her and said this was fact. https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/5840-what-is-african-american-culture/page/2/?_fromLogin=1 I know geography isn't your field but since you are an educator and I assume have a general foundation of geo/political knowledge as part of a well rounded education, so would YOU care to set the record straight? Are Haiti, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Jamaica nations that are part of AMERICA (not U.S.A), or are they not ?
