Daniel, Do You Forgive Them?

What are all the Trump supporters from the deep south?  You would think Negros from the south would be the last people to support a Donald Trump.

@Pioneer1 You talking about Hershel Walker with lip gloss?  Leave him alone. That Brother is my age and he has a head full of thick jet black hair.  I saw that brother run 100 meter dash once.  When he said he would run people over that Brother ain't lying.  The rest of the stuff I'm not so sure about...

It is common knowledge that Donald does not treat all people like VIPs we know he beat countless vendors and contractors out of payments he owed them.  we know he weaseled many students out of money with that bogus school he setup.  I don't know if Hershel believed everything he was reading or how much he was paid to read it, but that was hard to watch.  It was just as hard as it was to watch Jim Brown in the Oval office with the Kayne West.

The 2nd Brother was interesting until started the bullshit equating the old Republican Party of the middle 19th century with the Republican party 200 years later is tiring.  Why do Black republicans keep raining that nonsense @daniellegfny?  They pulled that crap in the Uncle Tom movie too. You do they think is stupid enough to fall for that -- besides themselves..

-----

The 3rd guy proves you can find anyone to do anything.  A Black Democratic congressman, from Georgia, who openly supports Donald Trump is probably. He said Trump "destroyed the negative forces that has victimized the Black community" for decades. @daniellegfny, anyone, please tell me anything 45 did did to warrant that statement.

I did not watch either convention.  I can't subject myself to hours of lying.

That is because it’s not crap. Donald Trump has attracted a whole lot of different people to the Republican Party. This is no longer Bush’s Republican Party. This is no longer the Country Club Republican Party.

America is a nation of Aspirational people. In spite of and because of his flaws people can relate to President Trump. The biggest differences  between Blacks who support Trump and those who support him are on an emotional level and directional bases.

Well I'm not the biggest football fan so I don't know WHO the hell he is, I just know he's got on lip-gloss or something greasy on his lips and it ain't right.

He wouldn't have to run over me.
If I saw a brother with lips that greazy running in my direction I'm going to get as faaaaar out of his way as I can, lol.

I didn't watch much of either, but I forced myself to watch some of it so that I could comment on both.

The best part of the Democrat Convention in my opinion was seeing Jill Biden.

Those who kiss his ass kiss it for the same reason most people tend to kiss the asses of wealthy people and billionaires.....out of false hope.

You see, most people have a subconscious belief that if they are nice to rich people and get on their good side then those rich people will like them and give them some of their wealth.

Like Lazarus who stands around under the table of a rich man begging for crumbs and hoping for more.......

Humanity at its finest...

"If I'm nice enough to him, maybe Mr. Billionaire will like me enough to slide me a million or two!!!"

But that's not how it works.

Most Americans support the rich because they think THEY will one day get rich, so they don't want to shit on them.
The fact is most people aren't going to be rich but they CAN live a much better and more comfortable life depending on who is in offices and what economic policies are in place.

That and a wiliness to burn other people= and go bankrupt numerous times.  His tax records will become public one day and I imagine they will be quite revealing.

The fact is 45 started life as a rich white man and has been successful is not a tremendous accomplishment.  What is remarkable has been his ability make himself relatable, indeed a role model, to people like @daniellegfny.

Perhaps the two statements should be offered up as a comparison in a survey to random Black Americans to find out WHICH comments were the most offensive, lol.

I am quite sure he does. It also has no relevance regarding your behavior. You may think that you are insulting President Trump or one of his backers. In reality you are displaying your fragility, shallowness ignorance and arrogance.

I also have no problem with labeling those countries as such. If Haiti didn’t have the poverty it has I would not donate money each month to support the Haitian People.

"Supreme" accomplishment is a bit much, because most people have no desire to become president, especially the smartest and most talented people in the country.

Still it is an impressive accomplishment, not I ever wrote implied that.  My point is considering 99% of the previous presidents were white men it is much less of an accomplishment that it would be of an ADOS.

@Troy@Troy When the Individual Mandate  was repealed that was a pay raise for me. When the gas prices were at unprecedented lows, that was more money in my pocket. By being a donor it gave me access to other campaigns and candidates. Your underestimation of certain things is understandable, but may prevent you from appreciation different things. 99% of white men holding the office doesn't diminish the accomplishment. Seeing everything through the len color dulls the palate and imagination. It's what Martin Bernal was hinting at in Black Athena.

If it was a gleaning well of country it would need my contribution. By giving Charity I am sowing seeds to receive my prosperity. I am making room for the new money to come in. The Giving of Charity is what is helping me to get out of debt.

I think parts of the USA are S-hole areas and that is why I give money to political campaigns to clean them up.

It's too bad political giving isn't tax deductible.

The repeal of the individual mandate selfishly ignores the fact that that millions do not have health insurance.

@daniellegfny do you have health insurance?

Gas prices are influenced by energy policy by increasing the supply the price was able to go down.

I don't have health insurance at this time. When I bought health insurance I could afford Obamacare said the policy was Junk and I couldn't keep it. I thought that was a gut punch.

Insurance isn't the proper vehicle for health care and I'm actually considering enrolling in Medishare, a Christian Based Bill Sharing Community.

@Troy Do you give Charity on a consistent basis? Until you do you won't understand the wealth principles revealed in The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind or Jim Rohn's What you teach your child about how to spend a dollar.

@TroyI wouldn't say that would explain my financial challenges. I would say the lost of vehicle which the liability didn't cover were the cause of my financial challenge. Like I pointed out else where I am about $10K away from being debt free. Over this last year I paid $10K off. While I contributed to Political and Social organizations.

I'm not going to argue with you over the laws of Karma and the value of giving charity.

I do believe that one of the keys to accumulating and keeping wealth IS to give a lot of charity because of the laws of Karma that many wealthy people understand and practice.

However I WILL say to you that if you're giving charity with the EXPECTATION to get more money in return based on the "laws of karma"....is it really charity?

Perhaps it should be considered an INVESTMENT since you are doing it to get a bigger return instead of helping people.

Troy

Not having health insurance does not sound like a benefit to me.

It's not.

Like I've said for years when White Republicans are for or against something they KNOW why they are for or against it even if they don't tell you why.

But when Black Republicans are for or against something....they are for or against it ONLY because they are imitating White Republicans...lol.

For example, Obamacare and Universal healthcare......

Most poor White Republicans are against Obamacare and Universal healthcare EVEN THOUGH it will help them.
Why?
Because it will help too many AfroAmericans and Latinos too, in their opinion.
That's the REAL reason they oppose it.

For them racism comes FIRST.
They will put their own health at risk and even die in order to promote White Supremacy.

Most AfroAmericans who oppose Obamacare and Universal healthcare....on the other hand...simply do so in an imitation of White Republicans without knowing the real reasons behind it.

Same thing with going back to work or working without a mask during the Pandemic.........

Most poor White Supremacists don't care if they get sick or die, their main concern in promoting White supremacy.
So if Agent Orange says go back to work and don't worry about a mask....they just follow orders and do it!
They don't care if they get sick, spread it, or even die....their allegiance is to White Supremacy!

image.jpeg.98b0b358f30f2cbbd2043e5f0e7e94d2.jpeg   image.jpeg.eec5ef1335b8eb49c2b7c674160033ba.jpeg

Many Black folks...on the other hand....see this behavior and ASSUME  because they see Caucasians doing it, it must be OK!
So they start imitating it and often end up paying the price.

Btw...
Driving cabs during a health Pandemic with NO health insurance is FRIGHTENINGLY unwise.

Too many people have to do unwise things to survive.  The paradox is that these very same people fight to maintain the systems that force them to make unwise choices.

Not only is that a great point, you know what a good example of this is?

I know a lot of working class AfroAmerican and Latina mothers who don't have day-care and relied on SCHOOL to take care of their children while they were out working.

So because of this some of them actually LIKE TRUMP AND THE LOCAL REPUBLICANS!

Why?

Because while the local Democrats want to make sure the infection rate declines before opening up the schools the Republicans are saying "fuck it....open back up!"

Excited, rejoicing cheerful businessman in classic suit, raising hands up, fist pump celebrating victory, become champion, made good deal, signed contract | Premium Photo
"OK guys.....let's open everything back up and make some money!!!!"

I'm telling them, the reason there are no free daycare centers in America and the reason you have to work 2 and 3 jobs just to make a living is BECAUSE of Conservative Republicans!
I also tell them that they don't care about your health or if you or your children get sick, they just want you to come back to work for them!

But many of them can't figure that out right now.
All they know is they are in a bind because their jobs are calling many of them back to work and they don't have anywhere to leave their children.

Can you IMAGINE what's going through the mind of poor working mom with school-age children if:

1. The Republicans were responsible for schools opening back up while the Democrats tried to keep them closed.
2. Agent Orange sends her a $1,500 stimulus check along with all of her low-income friends right before November

Now who do YOU think she's gonna vote for, if she votes?

While I fall into the category of Essential Worker because we transported other essential workers to their destination.  As a driver my real classification is Independant Contractor. My earnings are over $100K per year. Because I am not a W2 worker I am able to keep more of that money. The move in CA is the exploitation of the drivers. It reduces their income and provides them with benefits they may not use.

I am unapologetic about the goal of earning money from my writing. Robert Kiyosaki points out that he is a Best Selling Author not the best Author. The Best Author is yet to be discovered and might not derive any financial gain from their efforts.

My goal is to be compensated in greater proportion than the Joy I bring. I am doing that by adding value to the efforts of others. Hence my reading and writing the book reviews.

I am improving my knowledge of my genre. I am helping others authors increase their exposure. I am finding compatible people to co-promote together.

The sales are important so I can demonstrate to investors they can get a return on their investment. Their investments will help me hire other people.

Back to Uber. I started 3 years ago. I didn’t have a car so I rented one. After my first month I was able to put down on my own car which I rented out to another driver while I still drove my rental.

At one point I was responsible for three other people earning income because of my direct actions. I now because of a series of unfortunate events and unforced errors, I am down to one care I own and one I rent.

I don’t call that exploitation. But my goals is be able to employ others and provide them with opportunities.

Because you can’t get past the boogeyman of racism you block yourself from access to information to full unleash your power.

Seriously you really need to get over the 180,000 number. It only drives you into deeper delusion over the disease.

If we study history.....
Of all of the rich and powerful men who have shit on and stepped over others...how many have actually PAID for their malicious behavior?

While they tortured and killed children, how many of THEM  lived to be 80 and 90 years old and died in their sleep?

Part of the psychological damage that has been done to many of our people by religion (Caucasian religion) is that it gave them the false hope that it's enough to sit back and WATCH evil people continue to be evil because "one day" they'll be punished for their misdeeds.

In spite of the risk, it was less risky for people to travel in cars by themselves instead of on overcrowded subways and buses weren’t reliable. There were many side effects on society that the pandemic and criminal justice reforms caused. It was the reason why I said it was more likely for me to be shot than die from the disease. It was a reference to the specific condition in New York City where the crime rate has skyrocketed.

Now, you are now saying that some government bureaucrat has deemed Uber to be essential.  I'm operating on the actual definition of essential not the government's classification of "essential." Again, you are exhibiting more liberal tendencies, but relying on the government to tell you what is "essential."

Attack was the appropriate word. Your antiBigBusiness stance tints your responses in a manner which conveys disdain. You can’t see it because of the blind spot you have developed because of it. It’s not just me. You are saying that the Political Entities that have enforced the definition of Uber being essential as Flawed. Take it up with them. I stated a fact compared to your opinion. You don't know what "fact" means; just because big government, according to you, said Uber is essential does not make it a fact.

My "Antibigbusiness" does not tint my position. It informs it.  Uber has every incentive to keep drivers like you on the road. Your government decided, apparently, to declare Uber essential.

This statement is insane. New York City has virtually no cases at this time. Uber and ride shares and taxis have been operating throughout the Pandemic. Hence not a variable.

There is no reliance on Big Government. You don’t understand Conservatism as it pertains to average Black people. The objective is to keep government from being overreaching. The only reason Essential is relevant is because it was what enabled me to be able to see the real world unfiltered by TV or Cable media with my own eyes.

And Troy the fact was the Government deemed it essential because it saved more lives than you or I will know. Transportation is essential especially during times of crisis.
