Guest T. M. Jackson
Hello, my name is Tess and my children’s picture book, Who’s Jerry has recently been published. I would really love for you to review this book since it is about explaining mental illness to kids with Black characters, and I thought it might be of interest to you. Who’s Jerry? tells the story of Imani, whose mommy has started acting strange. Sometimes she doesn’t get out of bed before Imani leaves for school and she has stopped taking care of her. Worst of all Imani’s mommy has an invisible friend named Jerry, who thinks Imani is a bad little girl. This educational picture book will help facilitate a conversation between caretakers and children grades K-5 about the difficult subject of severe mental illness. ISBN 978-1-7361282-1-3 (paperback) ISBN 978-1-7361282-2-0 (hardcover) 36 pages Who’s Jerry Barnes & Nobles link. https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/whos-jerry-t-m-jackson/1138375332?ean=9781736128220 Thank you for your time!
