Guest Karen Sloan-Brown
We can never forget slavery. We still suffer the repercussions to this day. I find some black people don't want to hear about our past injustice because they are ashamed of it. They must realized that we bare no shame for being oppressed, we should be absolutely be proud of the way we survived slavery. The story should never stop being told. The Jews will never stop speaking of the Holocaust, and we need to follow that example. Make your persecutor be ashamed of what they have done. Affirmative Action was created to right some of the wrongs from slavery, but if we don't want to look back, no one else will, and the wrongs will continue.
