Yep. Unfortunately, instead of hanging out at Dunkin Donuts and pulling folks over for stupid sh8t, the police wil be sitting in the  parking lot of Dollar Stores and Walgreens waiting for Trick or Treaters, er, shoplifters.

I'm willing to wager over a third of all law enforcement in the nation will eventually end up walking off the job....plunging this society into mass chaos.

I doubt it will go that far but if so, I'm guessing national guard would get called up similar to during protests.

 

Before that happens, I'm thinking they'll ease up on the vax status mandates.

The government’s vaccination mandates are a failure.  

 

People are skeptical of the vaccine for various reasons,

and now there is evidence that the vaccine is ineffective

at providing immunity against the disease, since fully 

vaxxed people are dying anyway.

 

Medical personnel, law enforcement, and other essential

workers would rather quit their job and lose their income

than get vaccinated, which says that the risk of side 

effects is not worth it and the people will not be bullied

By default, this could happen if enough law enforcement and first responders walk off the job. 

 

Now, I'd imagine they would deploy their skillset on the underground/black market i.e. work for the militia groups in their respective communities.

 

 

But still, it ain't the same as being able to call 911 when the baby stops breathing or grandma falls outta her chair lift and can't get up and Life Alert doesn't work.
