Pioneer1
Mark my words.... A time is gonna come.....soon...when more White people will be celebrating Kwanzaa than AfroAmericans. A time is gonna come.....very soon...when you're gonna be able to walk down the street and the average young White person you stop and ask will know more about Kwanzaa and what each day means than the average AfroAmerican youth (many of whom probably won't have even HEARD of it). ProfD
Unfortunately, Afroamericans have a habit of abandoning our own ice because someone else's ice is colder. The saddest part is that someone else can take our ice and sell it back to us.
Mzuri
************************************************************************************ I don't know anyone who celebrates Kwanzaa. Based on Kwanzaa books that got reviews at A*m*a*z*o*n it looks like around 3,000 people left book reviews for the top ten selling books so it doesn't seem to be happening there either. I don't think that Kwanzaa has ever caught fire. I'm sure that some families celebrate it in their homes, but is it really a thing? I doubt it. ************************************************************************************

There are a significant number of people who celebrate the holiday. I login to see what’s happening and i see this and gotta read how we go from Kwanzaa to KY jelly to lol!

You'll get no arguments from me...... I don't even know why Nels brought it up in the first place. His MOUTH is already lubricated for what he wants to do.....no need for additional lubricants, lol "Ahhhhh...... I can take it like a man!" It was brought up because it highlights the subsequent euphoria that usually accompanies the hallucinogenic effects of blind irrationalism.
