The Folktales’ Black Women’s Literary Society book club, who starts their 30th year in 2022, is one of AALBC favorite sources for book recommendations. In addition to the books on their reading list, club member Peggy Terry, has shared her favorites with us including; “If you can only read one book this year,” check out; Blacktop Wasteland and Razorblade Tears.
