The Psychosis of Black Trump supporters

Recommended Posts

Many Black Trump supporters, particularly the ones who aren’t famous or super rich, are usually seething inside.

They're lacking something socially or emotionally and their false belief they are superior to other Blacks does not fill this void. This is why so many lack empathy for Blacks who are abused, experience misfortunes or are poor. They tend to devalue the misery of those in need.

What remains unfathomable to me is how so many blithely ignore Donald Trump’s racism. I blame
cognitive dissonance for this. And it occurs in Black Trump supporters because they want to desperately believe he is a successful business man, incredibly moral and smart and supporting him will elevate them all to prosperity.

But the reality begs to differ. Trump has been impeached twice. He lies constantly, and openly admitted he wanted Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 election results. Trump has paid off porn stars who had sex with him. And he cares little about empowering anyone unless they’re White. He also takes a special delight in attacking Women of Color.

And since all this reality threatens the beliefs of Black Trump supporters, they have to mentally conjure up excuses to overcome this. This is why some will whine and lie about most Blacks being on government assistance, undereducated, prone to violence, criminally minded or birthing children they cannot properly care for.

And all because they insist on supporting Trump, whose shattered ego won’t allow him to accept he lost the 2020 election. Or admit the man he succeeded was so superior in Word, Speech and Deed, that it probably disturbs his sleep. Trump still cannot stand the fact that an impressive Black man won the White House twice. Without resorting to lying or cheating.

Obama’s greatness in giving speeches cheered billions. He astounded the entire world with his soaring oratory. Few men could match Obama when he spoke. In Japan, compact disc recordings of Obama giving speeches were snapped up and used to learn the proper pronunciation of English words, according to an October 2019 story in the New York Times. (Link provided)

Most Japanese people, including those studying English, would have difficulty comprehending a speech given by a native English speaker, wrote Miki Tanikawa, who authored the NY Times story.

But “Mr. Obama’s English is easy to understand because he pronounces words clearly and speaks at a relatively slow clip,” said Professor Tadaharu Nikaido, a communication specialist in Tokyo. “Movies tend to be the most difficult for Japanese, especially when actors mumble their words.” (This is from that Times story).

“Mr. Obama sets his range of vocabulary wide enough to accommodate the highly educated and the less educated, Professor Nikaido added, and at the lower end, it sometimes comes within the range of non-native speakers’ comprehension.”
Think anybody wants to buy CD’s of the mumbling meanderings of Trump?

It is amusing that Black Trump supporters cannot stand when anyone finds fault with their hero. Which is why when their view that Trump is a god is challenged - they react in bitterness and rage. How dare anyone point out the truth about this lying, cheating man? How dare anyone criticize him?

Well, it’s because in the U.S., one can do so. It’s perfectly legal because of something called the First Amendment. And no amount of childish epithets or petty anger will ever change that.

@Stefan, politics and religion are polarizing subjects most likely to result in an argument or disagreement or worse.

Whatever a person chooses to think and/or believe, they will find information or data to support and/or make up something to defend their position.

Trying to convince people to think differently especially when they are firmly entrenched is a losing proposition in a zero sum game.

There are no winners in a political debate just like nobody is going to heaven or h8ll. 😁

I learned a very long time ago to let folks think and believe whatever works for them.

My bandwidth is better spent speaking out against the system of white supremacy. 😎

Prof D,

Normally, I would agree with you. However, many Black Trump supporters tend to personally attack other Blacks who do not agree with them.

To me, this is juvenile behavior and betrays the premise that all should have a voice.

If you do not care from someone's choice in politics, respond intelligently and truthfully, but without ad hominen personal insults.

The overwhelming majority of Black voters rejected Trump in 2020 and I bet, will continue to do so.

I don't understand why he's so bothered about President Trump

anyway, since life was much better with Trump than now.

If I was that dummy Stefan, I'd stop focusing my attention on

President Trump and stock up on groceries before the next

supply chain shortage hits his neighborhood bodega.

Yes, Stefan just doesn't seem to understand that under fake president (or whatever he is) Joe Biden, the cost of living and inflation are exponentially higher than they were under Trump, the National Debt just hit $30 trillion for the first time in history today, Biden and the Leftists who are actually running his regime are undermining everything that defines American greatness, Biden via his former boss Barack Obama has been systematically bifurcating black America without blinking an eye...etc., etc., etc. Stefan appears to be a hopeless brainwashed victim of very intense gaslighting on steroids that is coming from the Democrats, the Left, the Mainstream Media, globalists, Big Tech, Wall Street, and a lot of other oligarchs and other major players.

You are really scraping the bottom of the Crab 🦀 Barrel. This is projection to the extreme. Most Black Trump supporters are like most Christians and Conservatives identifying  as Americans. We would fall in the ideological camp of integration and full participation in the American Dreams as citizens of the country.

We recognize the hardships Blacks have faced, but choose to focus on what we have done and can do. We are not idol worshippers or people who focus on pragmatism not opportunism.

Why would we support Trump? 1. Trump has had a long business history filled with spectacular successes and failures. As anyone who has achieved anything realizes failure is a necessary component of success.

2. He make a distinction of Americans not  based on race. His distinction was Citizens and unlawful entrants.

3. Crime has plagued many communities. We don’t like treated as criminals or looked upon as such. Hence Law and Order is a fundamental value.

4. Education and Upward Economic Mobility is another core value. We see that school choice may offer a solution to better education and financial situation.

We generally bear no ill will anyone, but we will unreservedly destroy those who attack us. Restraint is also a core value is why we don’t launch into more fruitless values.

As long as you continue to try to define others, you miss opportunities to advance everyone. I hope this response was long enough to meet your expectations @Stefan

I don’t believe is Trump moral. It wasn’t even a thought in my mind. Also while I maybe Christian Trump’s sexual activities are no more relevant than a false estimate of his morality. Trump is a servant. I pretty much care about the policies he implements more than questions of character which I didn’t question with Obama.

@nels great article. It fizzed in the middle, but had a good ending.

It is laughable that people would question Trump's morals while

they gloss over the sordid character of people like Bill and Hillary

Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and all the rest.

They don't consider that their complaints about Trump are from

when he was a PRIVATE citizen.  Trump was living his life, not

trying to be the pope or the president, he had the same lifestyle

as everybody else.

Trump was married, he was divorced, he had affairs, he got his

groove on, just like everybody else.  He ran his business just like

everybody else runs their business, they exaggerate and promote

their products with additional flair.  But when Trump says his

hotel is the best in the world, he's a liar.

There is a big difference between Trump, and the other people

I mentioned who were elected government officials while they

were engaged in all sorts of corruption and criminal activity.

The Clinton's dirt is too numerous to list, Pelosi has enriched

herself using insider trading information in order to trade on

the stock market, and Joe Biden has been corrupt for so long

he doesn't know the difference between right and wrong

anymore.

If people are going to question other's morality, then question

everybody equally.  Don't apply one standard to Trump, and no

standards to your own sorry bunch.  Doing that is dishonest

and disingenuous.

The moral  character of invididuals prior to running for public office is always investigated and factored into the equation.  Some folks are held to a higher standard than others.

Former POTUS Barack Obama had to be a saint and walk on water before he was allowed to sit his black azz in the White House.  They tried to dig up dirt on him and couldn't find enough to fit on the shovel.

OTOH, former POTUS Donald J. Trump did his thing with the ladies, grabbed their private parts and bragged about it on video, mocked a person with disabilities and he was still elected.

As you all know, I don't get into debates when it comes to politics and religion.  I'm just pointing out the fact that moral character is a consideration. Black folks have to be flawless.  White folks can be raggedy.  😎

I don't know whether he grabbed women's privates

or not, but I do know that, that is not what he said.

Did you even hear the recording?

He was talking to some other men, on a bus, and he

said something to the effect that - WHEN YOU HAVE

MONEY, WOMEN LET YOU DO WHATEVER YOU WANT.

LET.

Then he said "grab 'em by the pussy" and they all

started to laugh because he was joking.

Since Trump is a millionaire/billionaire, I guess he

would have first hand knowledge about what women

allow men with money to do.

I'm pretty sure that men with money have all sorts

of freaky things going on that broke people can

only think about.

Trump mocked everybody so I guess people with

disabilities got equal treatment.

Anyway, Trump does a lot of things that I don't

approve of, but he gets things done and takes

care of business, which is more than Joe Biden

is doing.  Biden is a do-nothing corrupt career

criminal, and that's why things are all messed

up now.

Today he announced his cancer initiative, but

things didn't go so well the last time he claimed

he would find a cure for cancer.

https://nypost.com/2020/11/14/biden-cancer-initiative-spent-millions-on-payroll-zero-on-research-report/

Biden is corrupt a f.

Trump was impeached twice and still may face criminal charges.  This thread if not about President Bill Clinton, Secretary Hillary Clinton, President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris. It is certainly not about President Barack Obama, either.

It is not about ANY political figure. It is only about Black supporters of Donald Trump and the psychology behind their undying support. It continues to amaze me that so many on here can't seem to read.

None of you recall Nel's attack on Black People about getting our own house in order before we go after others? You forget that, don't you? His claims most of us are criminally minded. On government assistance. What poppyock! That's HIS opinion and he cannot prove any of it. Black people are made of stern stuff.

Everything I wrote about some of the more strident Black Trump supporters is true. These ones react with bitterness and rage if anyone criticizes their hero. Or they employ childish attacks which have no bearing on the debate. Stick to the facts.

And for your information, the United States was NOT doing well while Trump was President. People all over the world laughed at us for electing a constant liar, a man who paid off porn stars and hinted that Covid-19 would magically disappear while withholding vital medical equipment that hospitals in Blue States sorely needed.

Covid-19 infections across the U.S. only began to retreat or slow down once Joe Biden was in the White House. Previously, I've posted two links proving Trump's long history of animosity towards Black people. But you want to ignore the carefully researched and well written news stories. And instead, bring up nonsense about other people.

Several studies of U.S. voters' trends, attitudes and outlooks have decidedly proven that a majority believe Donald Trump was the worst U.S. President in history. I posted a link from PBS.

The ones who claim Trump was so great while in the Oval Office have reasons for doing so. And I bet most of them have to do with Trump hating, disliking and marginalizing people they can't stand. Or hoping Trump's belief in lying and cheating others to make him more money will rub off on them.

Keeping score about who is more lascivious between the Retrumpicans and the Democrats is a meaningless exercise.  But i do find it significant how these black Retrumpicans rush to the defense of and try to sanitize their massas, obviously convinced they are pillars of virtue who - when restored to power will throw them some crumbs..   I don't feel the need to excuse Dems from possibly being guilty of doing what all powerful people do, But i do  place significance on incidents like the typical heavily armed Retrumpican fool, who travelled up north to NY to track down a pizza parlor where he was told that Hillary Clinton was running a pedophile ring in the basement of   - and found nothing.  And of course there the ongoing belief among Retrumpican faithful that Dems are  lizard people who live off the blood of young children to survive. These are  just examples of how irrational Retrumpicans are. They live in an alternate universe where truth is a foreign concept.

At this stage, i just go with my gut and it recoils in a visceral response to these bootlickin black right wing conservative who idolize their white leaders.  Black Dems use Biden, he doesn't use them.  He needs them. They don't need him specifically.  Black conservatives live  in the furtive hope that they will one glorious day reach their dream of being artificial whites. All they have to do is be good negroes

Being acquitted does not void the fact that Trump was impeached, and history will record this. That was the motive of the Democrats who knew they didn't have the votes to enforce the impeachment.

Extreme hatred of Trump and Over-the-top love of Obama never made sense to me, and are perhaps equally psychotic They are both flawed people ... like the rest of us.

Trump has plenty of  people from Jim Born to Kayne West in his white house.  Even Amarosa is part of his team .  He also commuted the sentences of plenty of Black people. Racism is a tool Trump will wield when it serves him ... which I guess make one racist.

I find Obama's refusal to exonerate Marcus Garvey curious.

People always want to bring up Obama's flaws when i criticize Trump. But I've never idolized Obama. i do think he was a victim of Republican obstructionism and blamed for being a president who happened to be black, as opposed to a black president but I was not enamoured of him.  It should be noted, however,  that historians give his presidency high marks.  BTW, Omarosa denounced Trump as racist when she was ousted from her white house position.

This entire rant reminds us all of a circular firing squad. Best guess is that Stefan is at the center of it. It's detrimentally amazing when mentally detached people write lengthy obfuscating passages in order to argue about things that they don't have a firm grip on or at worst, things that they have absolutely no measurable knowledge of.

An agenda that includes spamming this board with your cherry picked "recommended reading" aka right wing propaganda, Your lame retort is full of the fallacious sophistry you resort to in your pathetic attempts to legitimize yourself.  No wonder you worship Donald Trump. You're a phony just like him.

and your guess about Stefan is debatable

Perhaps someone needs to be brought to their senses because they seem to have selectively and conveniently forgotten some (true) facts, not false ones.

All of this tumult appears to have arisen after Stefan attacked me for simply posting my personal experiences and observations regarding black America needing to get its house in order before it burns everyone else’s down. I didn’t know who Stefan was then, don’t know who he is now, and don’t care. As far a I’m concerned, people like that border on pure lunacy.

The only skewing I see is from someone who is wholly insecure and who doesn't seem to understand the basic fundamental differences between opinion, truth and lies, and facts that are based on each category. I could care less what people including you, say, think, or do. My only focus is on getting people to 'pay attention' to what's happening around them. This is simply a discussion board and only a discussion board, not a court of law. Anyone who takes what's posted on common board exchanges too seriously, needs to have their head examined.

One thing I don't do is waste time trying to control anything or anyone. Life's too short for that nonsense. It would appear that it is you who wants to control the tone of this platform and that's you're right. That's something that moderators both good and bad, do on a daily basis almost everywhere. It's also something that The Left and totalitarian thinkers have done for hundreds of years across numerous mediums and societies.

Nearly everyone has political views, but I find that the issue with liberal blacks in particular is that when you're black and you leave the plantation, they blow a gasket. I see a lot of personal opinions posted on this board and I treat them as such. If I think they're great, I'll say so and if not, likewise. If you're trying to moderate a discussion board and don't have thick skin or exercise good judgement, then you're wasting you're time and everyone else's. Perhaps you might want to toughen up like Megan McGlover, instead of whining and complaining because hearing what you don't like makes you miserable.

But you are not qualified to assume that position. You're off key, yourself.

OK, Mzuri and what's-his-name, you two can come to the defense of your security blanket.

If someone disagrees with something that Nels has posted,

But what some of you mental midgets resort to is throwing

Cynique,

One of the things I find downright hilarious, not just in this thread, but in so many on here, are the instant eruptions of childish outrage that someone would dare take issue with their chosen one, Trump.

It is so amazing that the bluster of some of Trump's most rabid defenders ignores all the posted truth of this guy's pettiness, constant belittling and pervasive hatred of Blacks, Latinos and Muslims. Their mischaracterizations of astute responses and dismissals of facts paints them as resistant to truth.

Instead, they chalk it up to Trump Derangement Syndrome. Because they can't bring themselves to accept that Trump's detractors are not deranged. It's just that there is so much to say negatively about this liar and twice impeached former Prez that one does not need to be deranged. Just have a good memory or average Internet research skills. The data will is easy to find.

Where's my proof? Just read some of the posts from Nels and Mzuri and witness how unbalanced they are when criticizing members of their own kind.

I don't hate Trump. But I always thought he was an ignorant, vengeful and vainglorious blowhard. Who else resorts to insisting his residential apartment is three times the size it actually is in documents designed to impress others?

It is kind of silly to enter a debate and destroy your own premise by resorting to hateful and cheap theatrics as well as juvenile imprudence.

Well said Mzuri. That was an excellent critique and perspective. Some people just can't separate facts from fiction and truth from lies, so they continue to jump down rabbit holes that move around like a whack-a-mole challenge. From what I've seen, they don't appear to be deep thinkers, at all. One thing reasonable people don't do, is launch knee-jerk diatribes based on pure emotion instead of common sense and logic.

@MzuriSo, contrary to what you say,  why are you, like a 'ho,  attempting to defend your pimp, nels? Presumably because he's incapable of defending himself and leaves you scrambling and lapsing into the lack of objectivity and  ad hominem attacks you accuse other of as you desperately try to elevate nels to the status of someone who others have an obligation to justify criticizing. Get outta here. nelly boy is a natural target for anyone who is against Retrumpicanism -   a Democrat-hating black guy seeking converts to the party he has bent a knee to. Nor do I owe you an explanation as to why i  don't go into detail about rejecting what he personifies. Anybody in touch with reality would blow him off. Which brings us to you -  who remain incapable of processing the obvious idea that you cannot pledge your allegiance to the Republican party without embracing Donald Trump. They are now one in the same.  So get used to it. Trump is your leader and you are his faithful servant - as in slave.( And you  are also nails' hammer.)  😳

BTW, i didn't coin the phrase "Retrumpican" but i'm glad it annoys you.  So did you originate the term "Dummycrat"?

Saturn Moon,

This is why I wrote "many." You see, as a professional news writer and editor, I am well aware of how to cut detractors off at their knees.

I also happen to know most Trump fans don't read that closely. Their whole existence consists of responding quickly with poorly thought out invective.

@Mzuri You really take advantage of your not being a professional journalist because there is nothing objective about you. And it's a little off-putting when you expect what you, yourself,  don't represent. You claim to be well-rounded but are squarely in Trump;s corner, a nook you have painted yourself into because you fallen for the Retrumpican okey-doke about that narcissist SOB. The idea of you demanding objectivity from others when they engage with a subjective trump supporte like you is typical of how disingenuous you are.

Journalism shines the light in dark places and once the light is shone on Trump, all a journalist has to do is describe what is revealed.  That's why you and your crowd have never been able to mount an effective rebuttal to all the terrible things about Trump because they have been exposed and the truth about him invalidates your credibility. So you want to sweep the facts under the rug while posting dirt about Biden and the Democrats; ancient history and unfounded rumors.

And what would you do if you didn't have CNN to dredge up in your attempts to deflect from the fact that Fox "News" is the official mouthpiece of the Retrumpican party that you hold in such high esteem?  Take your bogus critique of Stefan and stuff it because your credentials non existent.

@Cynique

Actually, my Husband and I were Hillary supporters before her

mess about the emails came out.  As retired military and govt

employees, we all know how important it is to safeguard

classified information.

Your allegation that I attempt to sweep Trump's dirt under the

rug is inane since everyone knows everything about him and

all his dirt.  He was a public figure and his marriages, divorces

and affairs were known to anyone who wasn't living under a

rock.

The only reason that I point out Biden's corruption is because

CNN/MSNBC doesn't report on that, so how would you dummies

know what's going on.  That and the fact that you choose to

ignore that the world is crumbling around you.

Some negative Biden news came out yesterday and people are

saying that they knew nothing about, and questioning why they

weren't made aware of it before the elections.

https://nypost.com/2022/02/02/us-diplomat-warned-about-hunter-biden-ukraine-deals-in-2016/

Anyway, I've been posting on and off on this board and Thumper's

Corner for fifteen years, so if you think that I don't have any credibility

I'm not worried about it.  I am not a journalist whose professional

standard of conduct requires objectivity and impartiality.

And I don't base my personal credibility on what Donald Trump or

anyone else is doing.  We are all individuals and I'm not responsible

or accountable for the actions of others.  So if some idiots here

would judge me based on Trump they can kiss my yellow ass.

That includes you and all your goofball cohorts.

I have access to at least fifteen different news channels since

we subscribe to Dish, so I don't keep the television on any

particular station, but I damn sure don't watch fake news CNN,

that's for sure.

Stay safe and warm everybody!!!

@MzuriYou always retreat  into pseudo civility when called out.  But it's impossible for you to keep the forked tongue in tact.  You drug Whoopie through the mud, talked about her like a dog, posted  videos of her (your specialty) and totally dressed her down,  a black sista whose only crime was expressing an unpopular opinion, something that opened the door for a sniper like you to take cheap shots at.   And you continually try to ridicule and emasculate Stefan a professional accomplished black brotha - who always treats you with respect and restraint.  You call Trump bashers names and diss Democrats so you shouldn't be surprised that people come at you, after which you flip the script like the two faced person in your avatar. Needless to say,  you can act anyway you want and say anything you choose; just be prepared to get what you give, while that crook and traitor Trump's legal troubles mount and jail time looms as a possibility.  As for your yellow ass, maybe nels wants to  kiss it but i don't think anybody else does.

I don't know what Hillary Clinton has to do with anything but it was proven that her personal emails posed no threat to national security just like she was  exonerated for what happened in Benghazi. She was a supremely qualified woman who took her defeat with grace and dignity and had she been elected, i'm positive this country wouldn't be in the shape it is now.

All ANYBODY on all levels of society does is bitch about the media. Everybody thinks they are the only one who knows not to trust it, and that everyone else is stupid, and is being misled and influenced negatively by the news channels, But there's always that one particular source that know-it-all trust and believe.  And that one is -   the one that reinforces what they think.

Mzuri, I am retired and did not work for CNN and never wanted to. I also taught Writing and English Lit for five years at business colleges.

Again, Mzuri, you just assume chit. And you're always ready with an ad hominen personal insult. The same with Nels, who apparently is taking time out from combat upon his "Battlefield of Life" and posting ridiculous claims that Joe Biden is an illegitimate President.

Former Vice President Mike Pence said at Conservative rally in Florida (Link provided) that he had no right to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Which means Biden is a legitimate POTUS.

To Troy: I am proud of former President Barack Obama and what he accomplished in the face of snarling racists and laughable accusations that he is a foreigner, a traitor and a Muslim. Of course, I love and respect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle. Most Black people do. He is still beloved around the world. Is Trump?

I admire Obama the same way I have tremendous respect for Black entertainers and spokespersons and defenders of the Black race. That does not mean I am love struck. I aim to tell the truth. If I am going to adopt a position, then I will do my best to offer proof. Not bullshit or an angry slanted response replete with infantile taunts. Only insecure folks do that.

To all others: I am proud of my people and understand the many societal factors which give rise to criminality in Black neighborhoods.

The U.S. judicial system usually comes down harder on Black people all the time than it does on Whites. Which is a huge element which contributes to the numbers of Blacks in prisons. When White men were charged with voter fraud, obtaining mail ballots and forging signatures for the 2020 election, they were not punished severely.

But when a Black women, who had a felony merely registered to vote, (but never cast a ballot because she didn't realize she couldn't vote under Tennessee state law), she was sentenced to six years in prison. Here's the proof.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2022/02/04/tennessee-pamela-moses-voting-fraud-prison/ )

I don't wish bad on my Race and I hope everyone becomes successful. But I'll be damned if I am going to lambaste and condemn Black people because they have yet to ascend to a societal and income level that some would consider success.

I bet that a lot folks who post their adulation of Trump look to their material possessions and income as a determining factor as to who should be judged worthy or not. And some of them truly do not understand English or political terms. Trump was IMPEACHED twice. He simply was not convicted. The same is true of Bill Clinton. Impeached, but not convicted. There is not getting around that truism.

Failure to convict does not mean Trump was found innocent.

To the individuals who can't control their rage at having their viewpoints challenged? Try being mature.

Mike Pence: I had no right to overturn the 2020 election results

I think many in the GOP, especially the extremists are just hankering to use their guns on anyone they do not like.

Not sure what will happen to those who opposed Trump's duplicitous and anti-Democracy nonsense.

The only thing I am certain about is that Black people's presence, accomplishments and push to be included in the political process will once become a huge issue for many Whites. They simply do not want us around. But what else is new?

The fact is that she did not accept defeat gracefully
