Biden offers a spectacularly qualified Black woman SOTUS nominee

Recommended Posts

President Joe Biden has offered the country an incredibly qualified and talented Black woman nominee for the Supreme Court.

Biden has selected federal appeals Court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to replace retiring Justice Stephen Breyer.

Neither one of them have any use for those alleged Biden free crack pipes.

Biden's superb Black woman Supreme Court nominee

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah and Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska have announced they will vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Jackson.

This should assure Judge Jackson will indeed take her place as the first Black woman Justice on our nation's highest court.

Congratulations!

Today, Justice Stephen Breyer officially retires.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson will be sworn in as the 1st black female on the SCOTUS.

Despite the SCOTUS being 6-3 (conservative), I believe  Justice Jackson will be able to make sound decisions.

Hopefully, the SCOTUS will become balanced before Justice Jackson's time is up.  😎

Yeah, and how did that end up happening???

You had Clinton and Obama in that Whitehouse for 16 years combined.
That's more than enough time to flip that Court and make it more Liberal or atleast balanced.

Perhaps it's a good opportunity for Black American to SEPARATE itself from the strong grip that White so-called Progressives and Liberals have on our community.

For the past 40 years or so, White people CALLING themselves....first Liberal...now Progressive have been PRETENDING to be the friends of AfroAmericans and PRETENDING to fight for our causes but have been using that as an excuse to not only promote their own perverted agendas (like LGBT rights) but also promote their ideologies to the Black community disrupting our traditional values.

For years we've seen how racist and demonic Republicans and Conservatives have been but many of our people have been fooled by the Democratic wolves in sheep's clothing, so perhaps this is an opportunity for a great awakening for us to finally recognize that we MUST form our own political/social movements and promote our own agendas.

@Pioneer1, reads good but the problem is AfroAmericans haven't codified an agenda.

AfroAmericans are neither in a position to hold any political party accountable nor start our own political party.

Just look around us. We've got Uncle Clarence Thomas on the right and bobble head VP Kamala Harris on the left. Then, there's the middle all over the place.

Codifying an AfroAmerican agenda could be relatively inexpensive especially if we used thr music industry to push it. Think along the lines of Talib Kweli "Manifesto":

Otherwise, it takes a LOT of cooperation and money to start a political party. 😎

Well, remember that Neely Fuller Jr. encourages us not to focus too much on "uniting" our people behind anything because it's so hard to do so under this system.
Too many individuals have their own agendas and ways of seeing things.

There must be a compromise between uniting all Black people and everybody wandering around separated and doing their own thing.

I think we should focus on a set agenda and present it to as many of our people as possible and give everybody an opportunity to either accept it or reject it.

Those who choose to accept it.....not matter how few....can then move together in unison towards pushing that agenda towards it's accomplishment.

I could care less who said Unity is meaningless. It is crucial. At least when it comes to Politics and Voting.

Someone asked how we ended up with the Supreme Court we have now.

Here's a recap:  Remember, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blocked a vote on President Barack Obama's choice to replace Justice Anton Scalia, claiming the next POTUS should choose the replacement.

Scalia died in Texas on February 2016 and the next presidential election would not be held for nine months. In the meantime, the court was 4-4. Republican chicanery and unethical nonsense was on on display here for everyone to see.

So, gone went the chance to add a someone who might lean to the Left on major social issues to the High Court and be beneficial to People of Color. Because Trump, (given a chance to name a Justice, thanks to Moscow Mitch), picked Neil Gorsuch to replace Scalia and that made the Court 5-4, Conservative.

Then to the dismay of many, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who had refused to retire so Obama could name her replacement, died in September 2020. RBG was so sure Secretary Hillary Clinton would prevail in the 2016 election and pick her successor. But Senator Bernie Sanders and many of his supporters proved cynical and jealous when they can't get their way and 12% of Bernie Bots voted for Trump. That helped sink Clinton's candidacy.

Trump quickly nominated Amy Coney Barrett to replace Ginsburg. The court was now 6-3, Conservative. And Justice Ketani Brown Jackson joining SCOTUS will not change this.

Mistakes, ego and stupidity is how we got where we're at. This is why getting jealous is so friggin' stupid.

Relax!!!!
We all know she wasnt chosen based on merit. She was chosen soley based on race and gender. They did pulled the same nonsense with Kamala Harris and look how that worked out. She is clueless and is way out of her league and she’s an embarrassment to the country. You choose the most qualified not anything else.
