Ceremony

 

 

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,

to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,

or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

REVELATION 13:16-17.

 

 

This would be the season for it!

 

Ceremony of high achievement would be the awesome reward for those who have struggled to reach a goal. Certainly, if one receives acknowledgement for earning a MARK that would afford the ability to have lots of money to able to buy a house, a car, food of plenty and provide for their children and other types of living desires and needs, ceremony would be a major goal itself. For this reason, the prophet John the Revelator defined a powerful future government in this way:

or in their foreheads:

 

 

 

 

 

Generally here in the states tassels are worn on the right side of the cap before the ceremony

and are then moved to the left side to indicate that the wearer has passed from one level of

learning to another like a diploma at high school or undergraduate degree - but they stay

It starts with the modern-day cap used by Graduates which is thought to be a distant relative

of  a the 'biretta,' a rather odd-looking hat used for over a thousand years. Initially it was meant

as a way to show that you were educated or had a clever brain, Oxford and Cambridge Universities

used them years later. But before that, before the universities in England existed, the caps were

used by religious leaders of Catholic and other churches throughout the world.

This ceremony goes back for thousands of years; however, the prophet John defines it as well for this powerful government. This ceremony commemorates that a person has received the required education for that government. So whether the MARK or document received was handed in the right hand or the left hand or whether the MARK was received ‘in the forehead’, it signifies that the person would be able to ‘buy and sell’ or thrive in that system. Without this mark of education format required, a person would not be able to live. The scriptures define ‘the ceremony’ however, the actual MARK required varies widely. It could be a diploma from an educational four-year, two- year, technical, college, etc. or university institution or, other types of governmental programs. THE MARK could be a Driver’s license, some type of civil card [i.e. Green Card], Military training, Naturalization card, Slave papers, Slave pass, Birth Certificate, Voter’s Registration Card etc. THE MARK gives the person the freedom to achieve some type of gain to be able to thrive in the system. This MARK of the government of prophecy would not be the only government in this world that have this type of identification process, however, the Bible defines it with respect to this particular established system along with other unique aspects. The oppressive nature of this system would be that at some point, the process would be unfairly forced upon certain people and the Mark would ultimately not represent the whole truth. In other words, it would be a trap for the oppressed.

 

Bondmen and bondwomen [i.e. second class citizens] would be forced to contract and receive a MARK of attachment either one official or another and thus their lives would completely depend upon idolatry. For example, our government’s Constitutional statement of; ‘All men have been created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.’ would be completely ignored and people would be forced to choose and make contracts with an idol to give them the freedom to live and not be denied the basic needs to sustain life. But even though this type of MARK defines an oppressive system today, however, it correlates to ancient times too, in how people became suppressed under a system of idolatry. Just as in the past, the LORD God rejects this type of subjugation of human souls no matter what status we are categorized within the systems. The prophet John writes that all who receive this type of ‘incomplete education’ will not be saved. The government of the Great Adversary thrives on deception; PART TRUTHS, PART LIES. The truth has been blasphemed. The Bible reveals that we must all receive this MARK initially though, but in order to be delivered from doom, we must overcome by gaining knowledge of the whole truth:

 

[2] And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire:

and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and

over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, . . ..
