Move Over CashApp and Venmo -KINGDOMPAY Is About To Come Marching In!

Troy, it's funny how earlier this morning I was expressing my distrust of many online pay methods.....just a few minutes after I made my post THIS brutha (Rizza Islam) discussed a new Black owned online payment method that was getting ready to be launched.

He briefly mentions it in this interview:

Pioneer the video is 2 years old.  I don't know if the platform ever launched.  Have you found a website for it? I found this one: kingdompay.com but nothing is there.  Kingdom Pay's social media has been dormant for 2 years as well.

This is not surprising' Google is always listening and anxious to get you to watch and share their videos.

Troy

Hmmm......
Not quite sure what to say about this one.

I didn't follow up on it too closely, so learning this is actually quite embarassing....lol.
Here I was ready to get down and support these brothers pushing their own online financial system too.

Rizza Islam is a very smart young man.
If not this one doesn't get off the ground, perhaps another one will come along that is even better and more reliable.

Like E-40 said,  "the more scrilla the merrier".....lol.

But it would be nice if "Black Twitter" was an actual real institution that we could participate on.

Since Musk changed the name to "X"...perhaps this is an opportunity to establish a REAL "Black Twitter" without confusion and concerns about copyright violations.

Twitter or X locked me out of my account a couple of weeks ago.  I have not been able to access it since.  I can't even look at my own twitter page.  I've asked them to fix it several times, but I guess they are too understaffed to deal with me. I have now given up.  Twitter and it’s so called "Black Twitter" are dead to me.

It is only a matter of time before the platforms completely implodes.  I predicted this a few years ago.

No shortage of Black brain power to make happen.

Unfortunately, Black people have been conditioned to wait on someone else to do it and/or enjoy the white folks' ice.

Look no further than this forum and the limited participation here.

Brotha @Troy has built a great space here.

Gotd8mn Black cattle won't come and graze or stick around for long. 🤣😎

Thanks @Pioneer1

Years ago I attended a conference hosted by Black Enterprise who was touting the benefits of Twitter for Black Entrepreneurs.

Being an entrepreneur I asked one of the panelists (not an entrepreneur) how can a platform we don’t own actually benefit Black people? The Brother who has subsequently risen to a senior position within Black Enterprise said he “rejected” my premise then went on to explain the benefits of Twitter.

The brother did not get it. I would have explained if he asked, I saw Twitter, social media in general, as a threat to anyone running a content site on the web. Twitter was the sponsor so I understood the response.

what I did not see was social’s exploitation of people’s narcissism, the need to gain and keep our attention at all costs — even too the point of hacking into our brains.

twitter’s demise was delayed by President Trumps activity. Elon musk’s activity was the nail in the coffin. X well almost certainly never be profitable.

 Good riddance.

Black people are selected to be in spaces and high places by their paymasters to herd other Black folks.

Of course, that *brother*  could not answer your question honestly in that moment.  If/when he's no longer receiving a paycheck...he might be willing to spill the tea.

There's a whole lot of Black folks willing to enrich themselves in going along with the program of maintaining anti-Black positions and conditions i.e. the system of racism white supremacy.😎

Well, the reality is that today most people, certainly those under 40, tell me that AALBC HAS to be on social media.  So the Brother may have actually believed what he was telling me.  TicTok is often cited as one of those platforms.

I tried TikTok for a couple of months hot minute and the number of views my videos got was decent, but the problem still remains.  TikTok's goal is to boost engagement on their platform and that is how success is measured.  I measure success by how many people come to AALBC.com as a result of my activities on the platform.

TikTok did not result move the needle when it came to new visitors. Maybe I did not give it enough time, maybe I did not do it correctly... I dunno.  I trying to figure all that out for the website I have no time trying to figure that out on TicTok.

The reality is that I will get 10K people to open an email this week -- many more will visit this discussion forum alone through organic search.  By any measure that is excellent, but no one cares unless it is happening on a social platform.

If a few celebrities decided to post here from time to time I can't even imagine what it would do for the website 🙂

Most people like to hang out in popular spaces whether in the real world or virtual.

Same goes for consumption of things whether it's  music, books, movies, clothes, shoes, cars, etc.

It's has little or nothing to do with quality of content moreso than mental accessibility. Again, many people like to be in the crowd.

Anything that requires a deeper dive or heavier lift mentally will be an acquired taste from an engagement or participation perspective.

However, make content simple and plain or crass and vulgar; folks will eat it up like McDonald's food.  Cheap entertainment.

Brotha @Troy, stay the course. I know you've been rocking AALBC for a long minute now. The site will grow as it's meant to happen.😎

This is true and something that is well known and used by business owners.  Clubs maintain lines outside, unnecessarily, to creative this illusion -- this counterintuitively increases demand.

Maybe I need to figure out a ways to show popularity to drive demand.  I just recently started adding my newsletter subscriber count to the end of my newsletters.  But then you have to contend with the other man's colder ice conundrum 😉

Yeah, as the culture continues to drive people toward our baser nature this will become increasingly true.  The New York Times success with their paywall (which I subscribe) is promising, as it demonstrated there is stil demand for content that requires a deeper dive -- which is costly to produce.

Competition in online payments is driving innovation and the creation of new methods for the convenience of users. The emergence of new payment systems may provide users with additional options for conducting transactions and managing their finances. I recently read about google pay, I found https://casinosanalyzer.com/online-casinos/google-pay  for this. I think everyone is already tired of this. Although there will be people who will disagree with me.

Of course it is. You are saying the right things!
