THE SEVENTH SON:
A play about the life and death of Tupac Shakur

Tupac Photo"The Seventh Son, set in the afterlife of Mr. Shakur, examines the social and psychological effects of a generation of sons growing up without fathers, having to define manhood for themselves, under sometimes dangerous and confusing conditions. While it is a play about the legacy of a hip hop icon, it is also a commentary on the many 2pac's that exist in our community, their history, their struggles, and inevitably-their transformation."
