The Tithing Hoax is written for Christian believers who want their questions about tithing answered in a way that is truthful, accurate and biblical. The topics range from pre-law tithing and tithing under the Mosaic Law to understanding the difference between tithing and giving and learning how to give according to the New Testament. The book is an easy-to-read Bible study that exposes and corrects the false teachings about tithing within the body of Christ. It is written from a lay person’s perspective and features a Question and Answer section that answers the most common questions Christians have regarding tithing. Authors R. ![]() Click to order via Amazon by Zane Hardcover: 304 pages Publisher: Atria (October 29, 2002) Zane's erotic short stories have captivated the minds of both sexes and all races. "The Sex Chronicles: Shattering the Myth" did exactly what its title implies -- exploded the myth that men are more sexual in nature than women, and that African-American women in particular are inhibited compared to their female counterparts of other cultures. Her audience is growing by leaps and bounds, nurtured by her Internet site and her previous best-selling titles, including "The Heat Seekers," her debut in hardcover. Zane knows exactly what her readers want, and in "Gettin' Buck Wild" she gives them some of her most provocative prose to date. Her characters and settings run the gamut from committed, monogamous couples looking to experiment, to the wild single sisters who belong to a very unconventional sorority. Zane tells the story of a high-paid multi-tasking career woman who gets her groove back in "When Opposites Attract," a couple who try something new in "The Subway -- A Quickie," and a new way of celebrating Christmas in "The Santa Claus." She spices up real-life scenarios with over-the-top sexual fantasy and ultimately gives her readers the best time they've ever had between the pages of a book. |

![]() Click to order via Amazon by Dr. Frances Cress Welsing Paperback: 300 pages Publisher: Third World Press (December 1991) We now are nearing the final decade of the 20th century. Recently, there has been an unraveling and an analysis of the core issue of the first global power system of mass oppression-- the power system of racism (white supremacy). Once the collective victims (non-white population) understands this fundamental issue, the ultimate organizing of all of the appropriate behaviors necessary to neutralize the great injustice of the white supremacy power system will only be a matter of time. The length of time required to neutralize global white supremacy will be inversely proportional to 1) the level of understanding of the phenomenon; plus 2) the evolution of self- and group-respect, the will, determination and discipline to practice the appropriate counter-racist behaviors--on the part of the non-white victims of white supremacy. |

![]() Click to order via Amazon by Joel Augustus Rogers Format: Paperback, 71pp Publisher: Helga Rogers (January 1989, originally published in 1934) BLACK FACT: White American slave-holders used to induce white women to marry Negro slaves in order to hold the women slaves for life. PROOF: IIn Sept. 1664, Maryland passed a law that any white woman who married a 'Negro' should serve the master of such slave "for life." Slave-holders took advantage of this law to induce the white women, some of whom were recent arrivals, to marry the "Negroes." MacCormac says, "Instead of preventing such marriages this law enabled avaricious and unprincipled masters to convert many of their (white) servants into slaves." In 1681, the Legislature was forced to issue the following law: "Divers freeborn English or white women sometimes by the instigation, procurement, and connivance of their master.... and always to the satisfaction of their lascivious and lustful desires....do intermarry with 'Negroes' and other slaves, be it enacted that if any master....having any freeborn English or white woman servant in their possession or property, shall by any instigation, procurement, knowledge, permission or contrivance," cause her to marry a slave she should be free at once and the master should pay a fine of "10,000 lbs. of tobacco." . |

Click to order via Amazon by Dr. Khalil Gibran Muhammad Hardcover: 392 pages Publisher: Harvard University Press (February 15, 2010) Lynch mobs, chain gangs, and popular views of black southern criminals that defined the Jim Crow South are well known. We know less about the role of the urban North in shaping views of race and crime in American society. Following the 1890 census, the first to measure the generation of African Americans born after slavery, crime statistics, new migration and immigration trends, and symbolic references to America as the promised land of opportunity were woven into a cautionary tale about the exceptional threat black people posed to modern urban society. Excessive arrest rates and overrepresentation in northern prisons were seen by many whites—liberals and conservatives, northerners and southerners—as indisputable proof of blacks’ inferiority. In the heyday of “separate but equal,” what else but pathology could explain black failure in the “land of opportunity”? The idea of black criminality was crucial to the making of modern urban America, as were African Americans’ own ideas about race and crime. Chronicling the emergence of deeply embedded notions of black people as a dangerous race of criminals by explicit contrast to working-class whites and European immigrants, this fascinating book reveals the influence such ideas have had on urban development and social policies. |
