Support Huria Search
Huria Search serves as a portal to help visitors discover content published by independent, Black-owned websites.
Huria Search does not accept advertising, which often skews search results toward sites with the most money. To ensure our ability to focus on quality content, we need your help.
Any donation made below is 50% tax deductible thanks to the Literary Freedom Project.
Your support will help both organizations remain independent and strong. The Literary Freedom Project is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit arts organization that seeks to restore the importance of reading books as an essential tool for creating intelligent, productive, and engaged young people. The Literary Freedom Project also publishes Mosaic Literary Magazine.
In December of 2015, after over 4 years of operation without any form of advertising, we integrated the Huria Search website into AALBC.com. This reduced the cost and overhead of running Huria Search. Our goals of supporting independent Black journalists, writers, bloggers, booksellers, and other content providers remain unchanged.
