Technology and hip-hop music and culture have been the basis for much of Lynne's writing, as well as in her work as an educator. She teaches instructional technology to middle school educators in the MS program in urban and multicultural education at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, and recently served as a panelist on the "Psychology of Hip-Hop Panel" at Rutgers University Student Community of Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop Explosion Seminar, and on the "Technology Panel" on the Microsoft Build Your Own Business Tour. In her former lives, Lynne was the technology editor at BlackPlanet.com, an African-American community-based Website; associate editor of Digital New York, an online and offline publication for creatives working in print and Web design, digital photography and digital video; and managing editor of Beat Down, a hip-hop publication. She also taught a planning for media production course in the undergraduate communications program at the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
