Akilah Trinay
Biography
Oakland native Sharifa Akilah Trinay Parr, M.Ed. is a passionate educator and entrepreneur. She holds a B.A. in Communications and an M.A. in Education and is pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership. Akilah’s journey spans radio, TV, and public relations, but her true calling is empowering others through publishing.
As CEO of Revision Publishing LLC, she’s published Beyond the Hurt and Potty-Training Day (Spanish/English), and consults aspiring authors. She has helped many clients successfully publish and promote over 25 books in various genres, languages, and formats. Her greatest joy is being a wife and mother.
In 2026 Akilah opened RB Books.
