Carrie Abron is the pen name of Candace Miller-Brathwaite, who writes urban fantasy rooted in family, friendship, love, and the magic hidden within everyday life. Her stories blend the energy of 1990s New York City with supernatural danger, Black girlhood, romance, generational secrets, and the enduring power of sisterhood.

Inspired by the Bronx, Harlem, lifelong friendships, family stories, and the strength of women who carry entire worlds on their shoulders, Carrie creates stories in which ordinary girls discover they were never ordinary at all.
