Charis Jackson Barrios

Charis Jackson Barrios, also known as Charis JB, is a Black and Paraguayan artist raised and based in the American South. Their art draws from all aspects of their multicultural upbringing and is continually inspired by its women, textiles, flora, and vibrant colors.

Charis earned a degree in fine art from the distinguished Cooper Union in New York City. As a commercial artist, they have worked with several notable clients, including Google, The New Yorker, and Disney.

Through their studio practice, Charis hopes their work will find a home in any space seeking an eclectic spirit, soft elegance, or modern cool. They presently live and work in their cozy mid-century home studio.
