Charron Walker
Biography
Charron Y. Walker is the CEO/Founder of Young Survivors Network, Inc., a support program for women 40 and under diagnosed with breast cancer, and she is also a breast cancer conqueror, diagnosed at 32. Charron is a published author of two books.
Charron brings 25-plus years of first-hand experience as a professional in the Human Services field, having held a variety of counseling and management positions prior to creating her own organization. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Community and Human Services from Empire State College and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Webster University.
She is also a Certified Mental Health Coach. Charron is an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society’s Reach to Recovery Program. She also volunteers as a Lay Counselor with Citylife Church. Charron has a weekly radio show, In The Know and Breast Health, on WVTJ Radio Station.
