Eric July

Eric Dewayne July (born April 17, 1990) is a comic book writer, entrepreneur, musician, and media personality. He is the founder of Rippaverse Publishing, an independent comic book company that has generated more than $15 million in sales since its launch in 2022.

His debut title, Isom #1, became one of the most successful independent comic book launches of all time, with a pre-order campaign that generated $3.7 million.

July is also the frontman of the Billboard-charting rap-metal band BackWordz and the creator of the YouTube platform YoungRippa59, where he has built a dedicated audience through cultural commentary and entertainment analysis.

As a writer, July anchors the Rippaverse shared universe with titles spanning the superhero, action, horror, and fantasy genres, emphasizing action-driven storytelling, creator ownership, and a direct relationship with readers.
